so with Convey out, who do you (not fy) put in his spot?

I say Ellis McLoughlin, I think at this point of the season its time to start playing the younger guys who haven't seen much playing time. Who knows it just might give the team a much needed jump start.

I am bringing 1600 of my friends so it had better be a good game. Winning would be nice too.

Won't happen. The obvious answer is he'll put Corrales there, as we have more than one guy we can put in CM. Or he'll put Corrales at LB and Morrow at LM, which he's done once or twice already this season.

Either way, it won't be good.

    Yallop is a joke.

    Time to play lineup...

    **********Wondo*********
    *******Dawkins**********
    Ramiro***************Gjoey
    *******Ring***Cronin******
    Morrow**Jason***Burling**Beta
    *******Bush************

Late in the game we will sub out Simon for Khari, Gjoey for Peterson, & Frank's Brain for a can of Vienna Sausages.

By the way, if we score, it will be a miracle.

    Who plays left mid?

    Ouch! But too true.

    This is frightful!

Here's what we should do, but won't because Frank's brain has already been replaced by a can of Vienna Sausages.

    - - - - Luzunaris
    - - - - - - - - - Wondo
    Ellis - - - - Khari - - - - Gjoey
    - - - - - - - Ring
    Justin - Jason - BB - Beta
    - - - - - - - Busch

And we can sub Dawkins on for Khari if we need more offense, Cronin if we need more defense. Peterson for Gjoey when (not if) Gjoey runs down. The big drawback with this plan is that we have no spare forwards, unless we use Dawkins in that role, or sub him on at left mid and move Ellis up.

But this game will be ugly no matter what. And we will finish near the bottom of the table, because our coach is a moron.

    GOOOO QUAAAAAAKES!!!!! :(
    Fire Frank and JD!!

To be honest, I'm having a hard time getting excited for this match. Our season is like a wounded animal dragging itself off someplace to die. :(

If Oduro is in-form we're going to have a long day. :(

I get what you are saying and we have 2 weeks to that someplace you mentioned. Sometimes I just want the season to be over sooner and we can restart. I know, if nothing changes in players, GM and coach and other things, the restart will just mean another cycle. Still I at least has a faint hope something may happen.

My own analogy of going to the Quakes games these day is it is like going to a family gathering or Thanksgiving dinner but the family is really dysfunctional. Are you really looking for it?

I assume they are youth soccer players. I bought some tickets in the office today and was told they expect this game to sell out.

Yes, it is our AYSO league. If their parents can bear to tear them away from COD long enough to see a soccer game.

i dont really care that the team sucks right now. my broke self cant get to buck shaw any more and wouldve given Pappa and Co. a verbal beatdown with the rest of the ultras anytime they dare venture to the west side of the field near 109.

i dont think the fans should let buck shaw lose its intimacy. if youre going to go, at least make it feel like a home game for Wondo, Beita, Convey, and BUSCH. the hustlers on the team deserve to have the fans behind them. I see no better time to get a "build it now" chant going, instead of a "earth! quakes!" chant.

or a fire FY/JD chant too. you dont need the ultras to get a chant going.

According to Yallop's twitter Zura and Pisanu will start upfront. Not as strong as the Peguero-Eduardo pair, but good enough to hose down the Fire. I think we'll win this one.
