    Arsenal's form..opponents..roster when those CB's were playing..away or home..

I don't like scapegoating any players (Almunia excepted), especially ones that have been at the club for six months. But that's just me.

Chamakh's form has been dipping since the cold weather set. See Form Chart Below (follow image URL for larger size):

    with and without fabregas:
    http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/fo...rsenals-chances-of-ending-trophy-drought.html
"With Arsenal bidding to end their trophy drought in this Sunday's Carling Cup final, the absence of their captain could prove crucial given the club's record with and without the Spanish international.
Statisically, Arsenal win more matches when their star midfielder is on the field. Their win percentage in the Premier League since Aug 2009 is up 24 per cent with Fabregas present.
Of the 47 matches Fabregas had played since then, Arsenal have won 32 and lost only eight.
In the 18 matches Fabregas has missed in the Premier League since Aug 09, Arsenal have lost six matches and are more likely to concede.
Fabregas' impact at the Emirates has not only been felt in the last few games. Since his emergence as a first-team regular during the 2004/05 Premier League, Arsenal have come to reap the rewards of his services when fit for duty."
"Of the 207 league matches he has played, Arsenal have accumulated a 60 per cent win average, scored more goals per game and on average win 2.03 points per match."

Curious about the number of matches Arsenal have played versus the other BPL teams? I was.
Result: The difference in matches from top to bottom is 14 matches (and we still have 2.5 more months)!

    Damn those FA Cup replays.

Just for reference, for the same time frame, the top 3 in La Liga, Bundesliga and Serie A:

    Barcelona 40
    Real Madrid 40
    Valencia 36

    Dortmund 34
    Leverkusen 36
    Bayern 35

    AC Milan 38
    Napoli 40
Inter Milan 39 (includes UEFA Super Cup & Club World Championships)

Anyone know of a source for checking a goalkeeper's goals-allowed-per-minutes-played stat?

Can't find anything and I wanted to see how Sneezy holds up versus Almunia.

the one thing that is a bit unfair for Fabianski and Almunia is that they did not play many matches behind the current first XI

I think that's all the proof I needed that 53 is better than the other two.

Thanks for digging that up, by the way. And where does one go about finding such things?

World Football Daily have been pissing me off stating that we don't play the most attacking football in the Premier League anymore. So I collected stats for all the Top 5 (and Barcelona).

Two things of note. We score the most goals per match than anyone, and our defense is no way as leaky as everyone thinks.

these stats are great and all, but some factors aren't given that would put these in clearer perspective.

level of opponent, and number of matches played each.
still, interesting numbers to look at.

It just paints a picture, admittedly a blurry one. Any ideas on creating a ranking system? (I was think "top", "middle" and "low" tiers. But even that would not give you a true picture as we have seen that a "low ranked" team can kick our ass.
