You know, when I was watching Inter the other day, one of the commentators was talking about yellow cards carrying over for some tournament, and it occurred to me that I thought Frankie was suspended, but I didn't think of Schelotto. Dang.
Rule 6.29 covers yellow card accumulations: http://is.gd/9tu62 [PDF] (hat tip to patrick for finding this)
Now do we pull for a strike so the game gets delayed until after the 17th so they are suspended for the game there? Also, who's making the Green "Kiss Me, I'm Crewish" tee shirts for the 17th? Or Google Translater says that "Thuaidh Cúinne" is North Corner in Gaelic. Although someone should ask Monte. Someone in the FO is missing out on a marketing coup.
Shawn Mitchell (smitchcd) Twitter: "Schelotto on his CCL suspension: "I can't believe it. I think the CONCACAF don't have the clear rule.""
What kinda graphic are you thinking? Just words and a Shamrock? Something more creative? I'm definitely not artistic.
I'm keen on the idea of a green shirt with white shamrock and "Thuaidh Cúinne" text. I'd probably buy that, if the price isn't ridiculous, and wear it to Claddagh on St. Patrick's. (D'oh! I was just poking around on Skreened, and you can't get a nice Kelly Green shirt!)
Ummmm no. Just a non creative guy who thinks that there's a ton of $ to be made from Holy Beersday if you had the right slogan. A Crewish Princess would wear the Tee that has two Guinness cans over her mammories that says "You Can Can", with a Toucan doing the CanCan.
Ideas are already percolating. Prepare to be dazzled. Just give me some time to huff some silver spray paint out of a sock . . .
When I was in Ireland for work a few years ago, the Irish always said "Thanks a Million" instead of "Thanks". There's gotta be a "Thanks a Guille-ion" in there, but I aint seein it.
[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j0iKzrqblqQ"]YouTube- It's always sunny in Philadelphia-Dayman[/ame] what is going on up there?
All right, here's the first draft. I'm seriously considering changing to a different image of Danny-O. But I wanted to get opinions on what people think so far.
You're the 3rd person who's made that observation. Which is why it's now official: I'm changing the picture.
Scornflakes, Can you make the dot over the "i" a Star of David? It gives us our star and carries on the "Crewish princess" shtick.
I was thinking about doing two. One for St. Patty's day with a shamrock on it, and one for Passover with a Star of David. How's that? Edit: Here's the simpler version I started out with before I went drawing pictures of Danny-O that were unintentionally and awkwardly suggestive. Kind of an old fashioned, simple style.
Thanks Thoma And when are we gonna see a Crewism t-shirt? I'd buy one. Okay guys, I put up two versions of the St. Paddy's Day shirt. You can get it in several different styles and colors. I'll get to work on the Passover one, and have it done by the weekend.
