The lines on the yellow are kind of weird, but it could be a lot worse. In this case, less is more. Now, on the blacks, the yellow armband sounds awful. Also, a couple of these mockups are missing starts...

 

hey buddy these are only replica jersey mockups. stars above the crest and scudettos only come on the authentic jerseys. you have to pay extra for those.

 

That black jersey looks so much better minus the yellow arm thingies...the yellow jersey is what it is - I don't love it, but it certainly is better than most of what the league is/will be wearing.

 

The lines on the home jersey just don't make sense unless they're separating two colors. Maybe work white back in to the kit?

Away one looks to be the first Crew jersey with a star I'll buy.

 

If those are close, I'm pretty excited about the official announcement.

 

Are they changing the number font? I think the ones that we have now are god awful. And why do all the teams have the same ones? Lame.

 

Don't most of the bigger leagues use the same font for all teams? At least I thought EPL did.

 

Because that's the way they do it in England. And everyone knows that England does everything better.

 

But why those terrible numbers? I have a hard time with the 1s and 7s because they look so alike. Especially when its just a glimpse, or from far away or if a player's jersey is folded in a way that makes reading the number hard.

 

Well if you can't tell who number 7 is for the Crew you should just go walk in front of a bus.

I've always had what I consider to be a uniquely Crew method of deciding on whether or not I like the new kits. It all boils down to this question:

Would this shirt look better or worse with a Snickers' ad on it?

 

Funny, mine is: "Would this shirt look better or worse with a Snickers on it?"

I can be messy at times...

 

For the Crew, its easy. But since all the numbers are the same for all the teams, it can be a bit confusing if one is not 100% familier with the opposing team.

 

Because I can, designs Columbus will never use as away jerseys...
