    The '06/'07 kit???

White with the red/blue vertical stripe??

If so, I agree... great blend cool with a little retro...

The current white kit is BORING...

How bout all-white, but with navy (or red) socks, for a little color? Classic and different at the same time.

Surprised no one likes the anthracite kit. The classiest uniforms we have ever had. Would love to see them be permanent jerseys.

IMHO, can't really go for a grey primary shirt where the country has a red white and blue flag and where that combination is literally synonymous with the country for its residents.

That said, the anthracite is one of the best for just wearing around and it's the only USMNT jersey I have.

as for the shirt, itself, i've loved it since day 1.

as for the entire white kit, it's a nice look. i prefer the blue shorts. but as long as we win, i don't care what we wear.

also a fan of the anthracite, but the 06 away is probably my favorite away shirt.

I guess since it's the away kit anything goes. At first I thought it was a bit odd but I'm cool with it now. I've been following the National Team since like '93 I guess and we've never had a kit I've ever really hated.

The 06-07 kits were awesome though.

I don't mind the design of those kits, but for some reason I really don't like the circles around the numbers.

I really like both our current home and away kits, and I loved our White jerseys with the red and blue stripe on the left, though you can count me among those who hated the pin-stripe blues...

I still don't understand that circle around the numbers crap that swept the world via Nike during the '06 qualifiers. Looked silly no matter what shirt you put it on.

At the same time, thank god Nike makes our kits. If we were signed with Adidas, we might be looking at those Chelsea/Bayern Munich chest plate dealies.

With the exception of the grey one, these are awesome! I should say the grey looks cool too, but I just don't think we should be wearing grey.

I find it funny that a "kit" thread gets a gazillion pages but we don't want Gooch to go by the awesome nickname "Gucci"

    :D

For my money the vertical stripe kit is the classiest and I'd love to see something similar again.

I like these especially with the different crest. Im curious though about what some red shorts would look like.. possibly with the grey kit even though I dont think we should wear any grey.

Kit thread's are the result of no one having much to complain about. When Adu and Cooper both get playing time, BB is winning, and Demarcus Beasley is no where to be seen then the message boards become less war zone and more Mr. Rogers neighborhood.

I'm thinking with added sock combos it would make the red shorts work:

White top, Navy Shorts, Red or White Socks
Navy top, Red Shorts, White Socks
Red top, White or Navy Shorts, Navy socks

Or, always have the 3 colors on:
White top, Navy shorts, Red Socks
Navy top, Red Shorts, White Socks
Red top, White Shorts, Navy Socks
