http://www.soccerbyives.net/soccer_by_ives/2008/08/galaxy-trade-ca.html Any chance we'd be interested in going after Robert?
Based on play and pay, no - and I read somewhere that he asked to be released due to homesickness so he could return to Europe.

Sorry to quote myself, but I was glad I was (cynically) correct. "Real Salt Lake acquired 21-year-old forward Will Johnson from the Chicago Fire in exchange for conditional SuperDraft picks in 2009 and 2011"
Steve Davis seems to agree with me. RSL is one of the few teams he doesn't mention when talking about quality talent signed during the transfer window.
Maybe he's trying to say that Robbie Russell is going to be watching the match and we should join him?
man, you had to go find the last time we had an outside back that was worth a damn on the offensive end of the pitch, didn't you
And yet somehow appropriate. After all, discussions about the team name are much older than this post and still elicit comments.
Lennon ain't exactly a great defender. Not that Russell was a lights out defensive back, but Lennon is not the guy we want long term on defense unless he suddenly learns how to tackle without looking like he's going to kill the opponent.
I'm betting you were a striker when you used to play. Namby pamby "oh, look coach, the mean defender made me tip over and soil my jersey". Jeesh. Floppin' around like a dead fish...
Offense taken! Have you ever seen the clip in Happy Gilmore where he talks about holding league records for time in the box? I'm that guy. My little brother is playing in HS ball right now where I went - I still hold school and league record for cards/ejections.
Wonder if there's a way to automate posts on BS, cuz this GIF would be a reasonable and justified response to about 80% of the stuff I post.
My esteemed observation is that we we weren’t particularly gifted observers of the game in 2008 and still aren’t a decade later. Carry On!
