Re: 2008 home kit Beat me to it. Originally seeing that bar shirt, I was a bit mortified it would replace the canary kits. They actually aren't bad with their intended complimentary unis, but you just know Sigi (and/or the players) are gonna frickin' mix and match.

The Columbus Crew [like it or not Sigi and players who think otherwise] is the yellow soccer team. Not black, not Dortmund, not black/yellow/black; we're yellow! [end rant]
Re: 2008 home kit Just a different neckline style. We haven't been shown the samples yet, so the product catalog is all I have to go on at the moment. Also, to brighten things up, from the looks of the catalog, there will be quite a bit more Crew gear available to the public than in previous years.
Re: 2008 home kit Historically, the home kits were intimidator black, that's how the club started as. (Even though the team would break out the white kits) But like some things in sports, throw tradition out the window, right, especially since the Deutsche dude started coaching.

Re: 2008 home kit Since we crew fans have assimilated the cowbell and the phrase "We need more cowbell!" into Crew mythology, and we reference to a certain Will Ferrell looking goalkeeper as "Ricky Bobby" maybe the Crew should adopt a blue third kit so we can refer to the team when they wear it as Blue Oyster Cult.
