Also, nice response to a question of mine from Ives:

"EVAN- How would you rate the foreign player acquisitions of the New England Revolution over the past couple of years? A number of club supporters feel that, by-in-large, their efforts at attracting foreign talent have been unsuccessful. If you agree, what might you suggest are some reasons for this? Is it a result of ineffective/poor scouting, Nicol's preference to develop young talent from within, or perhaps something else?

IVES- It is definitely odd that a team coached by a European Soccer legend like Steve Nicol can't land any legitimate European players. What I have heard is that Revs ownership isn't interested in spending big money on players so that may be why you haven't seen any real high-profile players join the Revs. That hasn't really affected the club that much because of the team's amazing success in drafting quality players, but the club is at a crossroads now, especially if Shalrie Joseph leaves. The club needs to step up and add a star player to help put it over the top. Otherwise, I can't take the Revs seriously as a title contender in 2007."
