Re: Gold Cup teams will be determined today The 2007 CONCACAF Gold Cup™ opens in Miami’s Orange Bowl on 6 June with the Final scheduled for Soldier Field, Chicago, on 24 June. The four other venues that will host Gold Cup games in 2007 are Giants Stadium (near New York City) in New Jersey, The Home Depot Center (near Los Angeles) in Carson, California, Reliant Stadium in Houston, Texas and Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, close to Boston, Massachusetts. One group will play entirely in Miami's Orange Bowl. 100% the USA will not be in that group. One group will have teams with 2 of their 3 games at the Home Depot Center and then will have their third game at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro. The third group will have teams with 2 of their 3 games at Giants Stadium and then will have their third game at Reliant Stadium in Houston. Gillette Stadium and Reliant Stadium will each host two quarterfinals. Soldier Field will have the semis and final. As far as tickets, it's done through CONCACAF, not USSF. Your best bet is to keep in contact with the stadium ticket sellers and have them let you know.

Re: Gold Cup teams will be determined today Honduras only cleaned them selves up a bit. This was still one of the most dissapointing preformances from this team. I would give up these 9 goales if they could of been in the next round. I think they had the best futbol on field, yet pretty or good futbol does not win games. Scoring does, and for them it came too late. Its shame because they showed the best treatment and attacking of all teams participating. But that is the reality of futbol, you don't score and forgive teams you lose games.
Mexico should be in NY/HOU then, and the USA in LA/NE. At least you would think, since NE is a more suitable place for the USA in the quarterfinals (likewise HOU for Mexico). I guess that we can have two more games in LA, since the other teams are ones who will be drawing fans.
