    Given the hype over the last "major announcement out of Denver: it's just a change in the colors.

    This build up the hype over announcements is annoying, such as the ASG.Gimme a break.

    Could you be getting paid by the terrible marketing management of the MLS and Colorado .... Arsenal, FC Arsenal...? You get the picture. Check Logan's Revenge. He has the insight back in the Fall and hoped the team would not be rebranded after a "rehabed" weapons depot (Rocky Mountain Arsenal) or become a stepchild of the British club.

    With the change to ugly colors and now ugly name, guess I'll need to turn my attention to another team that respects its heritage, geography --- and fans. Cheap move on the part of E. Stanley Kroenke to add more revenue to his billions.

    Alright, i don't know if this is just my crazyness but when i first looked at the picture i took the darker part as the focus and it kind of looks like a dredlocked man, maybe meaning a special signing? i dk just a crazy thought, maybe Ronaldinho?

    I'm not so sure that wouldn't be an improvement. Remember, this is the crack team that traded Jeff Cunningham for Clint Mathis...

    The New Colors and New Kits have already been released. My guess its a new player or a new partnership with another club.

    As strange as that sounds i would not be surprised. The Mexican and Spanish language media is reporting an MLS club outbid Necaxa by 4 times what they were offering. New York has already said it wasn't them. I doubt it could be LA. DC is not signing a DP this year and as far as money goes that leaves Colorado, Chicago and Dallas.

    What i see in that whole thing is a definate trans-atlantic connection so i'll say:

    New colors officially unveiled
    Partnership with a European club
    Player signing

    I'm going with my "Colorado will shock some people" prediction from last year.

    Um, no it OBVIOUSLY isn't....since they've already been released.


    It could be a name change, a partnership with a new club, or a potential DP signing.

    THE COLORS, LOGO, AND JERSEY HAVE ALREADY BEEN RELEASED. And it wasn't like it was some web release, as they actually had a press conference. Hence the pictures that are staring you right in front of your face.


    It's pretty obvious that it's going to be something other than that.

    Douche bag...that was a supporters summit, not a presser. BUT YOU KNOW EVERYTHING. Pictures that were released by the Rapids to gain some viral media buzz. Get a clue

    The colors/logo have not been officially released. They were shown to a supporter's event as a sneak peek, and even then the supporters were warned that those weren't quite the final versions (The shorts weren't ready for one). If they had been released, the Rapids Superdraft picks would have been wearing scarves in the new colors instead of the black and blue ones they were wearing.

    I'm 100% sure that the new colors will be part of the announcement tomorrow.

    I found this today though, maybe the name change rumor has some substance to it...
