If it was not for the atrocities behind all this, I find them quite funny, I guess it is always the case with propaganda...

These images were taken from Faces of the Enemy, by Sam Keen -- fantastic book, btw, a great source on deconstructing propaganda

I know a lot of conservatives get on the case of Bill Maher, but frankly, I think this poster needs to be updated and widely distributed.

(although to hear my Nan talk about the Blitz - in the house when next door was a direct hit. Twice. - you'd think it was the best thing ever)

My all-time favourite. In true Burgundy-esque fashion, this is just the balls:

    http://www.diggerhistory.info/images/posters2/uk08.jpg

"Bunch of monkeys on the ceiling, sir! Grab your egg-and-fours and let's get the bacon delivered!"

"Um -- cabbage crates coming over the briny?"

I am reading a book on North Korea right now. North Korea is unintential commedy. I mean, Kim is a real classic of a communist dictator, the glasses, the silly suits, the music, the posters.

If it was not for that little nuclear thing, oh yes, and the kidnapping of Japanese children, oh and the famine, oh and occasionally shooting missiles, it would be hilarius.

Here are some ideas for other North Korean posters

"Send out for a Pizza -- Japan does Take out."

    "Food -- overrated capitalist enemy."
