Just saw the entire replay on satellite. Poor man-marking led to all 4 Croatian goals, two of which were off free-kicks.

Niko Kovac scores the first goal on pass from Darijo Srna on a free kick to give Croatia a 1-0 halftime lead. Kovac just missed scoring on a header about 15 minutes earlier on Niko Kranjcar's corner kick as his header hits the crossbar.

Simunic scores the 2nd goal from a few feet away after Olic, a late game substitute, is unable to gather it.

Kovac knocks in his second goal as a defender is unable to get in front of him as Niko knocks in the ball on a cross.

Dado Prso scores the final goal near the end of the match as this shot from outside the penalty box is deflected and goes past the goalkeers left.

Tomislav Butina was barely challenged. Iceland had a chance after he squandered a clearance attempt that hit his own man, but their forward blasted the ball right at Butina, their only legimate chance at a goal. Iceland basically played with all 11 men behind the ball and struggled to put two consecutive passes together.

Croatia is now only 2 points behind Sweden for first place, who have played one more match.

Oh, yes. Booed, insulting songs were sang, all kind of unpleasant stuff. He had to be because it was his first game on this stadium after leaving Dinamo, and he won't be coming here with Hajduk until next season. But he did not seem surprised.
I think on Wednesday, when we play Malta, everything will be ok, more or less.

Whenever he took the corner kicks the fans let him have it. In the 2nd half, he squandered a great scoring chance and they had a field day.

He's with Hajduk now, so screw them. :D

To me it seemed only a few were doing the ‘pederu’ chant, and were quickly shut down by the rest.

Well, at least half of the north grandstand was chanting "Niko pederu". It is true that a lot fans were against that, almost a fight broke out when some guy tried to shut up those who were insulting Niko.
During the second half there were songs like "svinjo debela" and chants "tovarska pi..."

Well he is a fat pig, but national team match really isn't time for letting him know it. Then again who knows when is the next chance to do it if Dinamo gets relegated :D :D
