It is something that Fifa has never really mentioned as a potential idea and that UEFA president Micheal Platini did not consider much. But would a Video Replay in soccer help the game?

What would Video Replay add to the sport of soccer?
First of all, a video replay is used in almost every sport across north america, and in great demand in every sport. In football it helps the referee diside the play and what happened in it or not. In hockey it is viewed upstairs by a group who disides wether it is a goal or not. They then phone down to the referee who shows the signal No goal or Goal. In soccer it would help to determine off-side calls, as well as goals, penelty's and other elements to the game. It would help the referee have a better look at the play. It would stop silly stuff in soccer like Diago Maradona's hand of god goal and Adriano's forarm goal against AC Milan that basically won them the Milan Derby.
But the next question we must ask ourselves is:
Is it worth it?
No, i don't think that it is worth it in most times, there would be tons and tons of money spent on it and it would just add more costs in a hand time finicial world to the UEFA and just cause money problems. It would take a heck load of money even if they only had one main video review office from the UEFA like they do in the NHL. You would have to establish communication from each soccer staduim to the office and have for systems so that they referee's can talk directly to the office. This would take alot of work and you would have to get video replay's and coveragde of all the goals and such etc. Even if you had it just to the referee's like they do in the NFL you would have to have video codverage of every game and you would also have to have a viewing box on the staduim pitch. I mean it is good for the NHL who have 30 staduims but for a soccer world that has 1000's of leagues and games and teams and staduims, it would be alot of money. And i don't think it would be wise to have the referee make the disisions like they do in the NFL because of anyother factor that we must add in to the mix.
And what would this do for corruption?
Yes, it is a big deal in soccer. Over is asia it is huge and it cannot be 100% factored out in europe ither, and yes even in the world cup it is said to be happening, match fixing, acting and betting is going on huge in the sport of soccer. That is the main reason why it would not be wise to have the referee make the disisions. If you are looking at curruption purposed then, yes this is a good idea. It would help eliminate currupt referee's. It would do this by making sure that currupt calls and such guarenteed would not happen. The play would just be looking at and Yes it was a foul or no it wasn't it would help greatly. The currupt referee would have no choice but to call it a goal or take back the penelty. This would be done like a challenge flag in the sport of football, the manager of the team would throw his flag or whatever on to the feild to challenge a play. Then the play would be sent to a office in which it would be viewed in every element and then it would be disided wether it was the right call. Yes, video replay would greatly help the curruption element of soccer.

Final Verdict: Video replays in soccer is a good idea, yet not a good idea at the same time. It would be quite alot of money to do but at the same time it would help in the battle of corruption. Therefor i think it is the best idea that we only use video replays in Cup finals and match's of that sort of importance such as the World Cup or Champions league. This would make sure that there is no curruption in the sport of soccer, as well as helping non currupt referee's to be able to make the right call. While as for the other game's Fifa and UEFA could slowly, and using local sponsers and such add video replay kits in newer staduims until they have them in the better part of europe and then the better part of the world. But while all this craze is going on UEFA president Micheal Platini added another idea to the mix. A 5th referee..... we will talk about that idea later.
