MLS put up the GoTW nominees

I am boycotting the vote personally- if MLS can't give us a replay of the Davy Arnaud goal then so be it, but this is just silly.

McBride's was better anyway.

In the back of Seattle's net. :D

I don't see why they can't provide it....it's not like it wasn't on TV in both Seattle and KC. It's a conspiracy, I tell you.

Wasn't it explained on the Wizards Blog? The video feed for the match was only shot in HD, which MLS video does not support (or something like that), which is why people weren't able to watch the game via MLS Match Center.

EDIT: Nevermind, the highlight is available for viewing on MLSnet so I'm obviously wrong. It's not the first time.

I agree. Pretty lame that highlights are missing. And that there is no attendence for Columbus.

I think the Arnaud shot should be in the voting as well. I may have not liked the end result but it was a laser of a shot.

Yeah Arnaud's shot was nice. Still I voted for Ricchett's goal over McBride's though that was a toss up for me.

I appreciate McBride's turn to face the goal but I think Ricchetti's goal required better agility and footwork.

There are now highlights for all the games on the MLS Multimedia page (http://web.mlsnet.com/mls/sights/index.jsp), just not all the matches archived.

If you want to learn how to strike the ball perfectly, just watch Davy Arnaud. Man, the guy hits it as pure as you can

the morales one was complete crap.

Firstly, the pass to findley was behind him and findley never even touched to ball. it hit the defender and bounced right to morales.

Secondly the defender originally on morales decides hes not going to cover him and allows him to run straight to the box.

Thirdly, the goalie got a terrible jump on the ball he started to move basically when the ball was right next to him.

nobody should vote for this garbage goal.

I think the fans have gotten it right a couple times this year, I hope we can do it again this week. Arnaud's shot was nice, but not even to the caliber of his two lasers a few weeks ago.

Really anyone should decide whether they like Richetti's cheaky flick (some people prefer the flashy stuff) or McBride's control, turn, and great shot. Just like Montero's goal a couple weeks ago, I really think its a no-brainer that McBride should win.

For that matter why is Convey's goal there, what was so special about that goal.

Two nice touches running at speed, the first one splitting the defense, and then a well placed shot. Maybe not quite as nice as McBride's, but, overall, better than the other nominees.

I think Fire fans are more likely than others to see Convey's goal as a result of horrific defending (Prideaux's giveaway and lack of response to the play along with Soumare's bad attempted tackle). Convey's speed on the play is what made it impressive, nothing more. It may or may not deserve to be on the list, but there are several there (and at least 1 that isn't there) that are better.
