I've been starting to get inquiries about next season.

Happy Easter, everyone.

Please post your intention to return next season and send me your latest contact info via Private Message so we can contact you when we organize in July for the 2009-10 EPL season.

For non-Rocks managers who view this thread, you can also post your interest in joining us next season. We are only interested in managers who absolutely commit to staying active the entire EPL season from August to May.

Non-Rocks managers are encouraged to read the Sticky Thread on Drafted League Rules Summaries for New Managers and to scan through one of our draft threads for this past season.

Non-Rocks managers please send me a Private Message with the following information:

First Name:
Last Name:
BigSoccer Nickname:
Proposed Team Name:
Email address:
Location: City, State, Country
Likely Draft Time Zone: (We'll draft in early August.)
Any other ways to contact you: Instant Messenger; Phone; etc.

For example:

Hal Jones
BigSoccer Nickname: Hal
Manager of the Aviators
*********@******
Lorton, VA USA
EDT or MST

Thanks to everyone who has made this another successful season. We've added some interesting competitions this year and had some very active and creative first time managers. Well done. Looking forward to competing against you when you work your way up to the Small Rocks League! LOL

Speaking of Small Rocks - Congrats to Craig Powell, manager of Vegas Virgins who is running away with the Small Rocks championship this year. Craing has about a 200 point lead with just 6 gameweeks remaining. Put a fork in this season! Craig's done it!

I'm interested in joining. To quote an old soccer joke:

"I thought you said he eats, drinks and sleeps football ......

He does, he just can't play it"

Hal - Hopefully you received my email with the info a couple days ago.

Question: do we have an agreed policy in place for teams that went inactive this season? Do we invite them back?

Hal

We have a standing policy that managers who go inactive do not get an invite back.

They may petition the leagues to receive an invite and explain the circumstances that led to their inactivity with rationale and a promise that it won't be repeated. I think we have had one team that went inactive allowed to play again, but it may have been a year between activities.

Basically, those who go inactive, simply fade away. They don't respond to organizing threads, and so forth.

Less than half of the current players have posted their intent to continue for next season and even fewer have sent me a Private Message with their latest contact information.

Are the Rocks Leagues due for a contraction along with the Global Economy?
