How long is Steroids traceable?

Indicates that MLB may test players soon via aclause that allows any linked players to be tested.

Question is, how long does Steroids show up in a test? If taken 6 months ago would it show? 1 Month? 2 weeks?

Anyone know?

Not sure about the specifics, but I know it depends on the type of steroid, the ammount taken, and the matabolism of the person taking them.
