There's been a few posts here and there about Sueño this year, but i thought i'd be best to keep it all in one spot so that it's not to hard to find specific information for anyone that might be interested.
Anyways, for those that haven't been keeping up with the news about this thing, you'll be happy to know we've got two finalistes in the top eight.
They are 15 year old Mikon Orellana from Utah (representing LA Galaxy) and 19 year old Manfredis Hernandez from Maryland (representing DC United).
Chicago tryouts will be held today and tomorrow.
The finals will then be held from Thursday to Sunday this coming week, and the winners will be announced that same day.
Hopefully we can get another Salvadoran winning this thing like we did last year with Briant Reyes at Chivas USA, but also hopefully that player actually turns out to be something (unlike Reyes who signed with their U-16's after winning Sueño and then seven months later he was gone).
