What are ES chances in making it to the World Cup?

I think that it is still still possible to pull through. The team standings are very close to define the 3 who will automatically advance. However, games will get more difficult as we get closer to the end. La Selecta has disproven the many who discredit Salvadoran futbol and have proven heart, relentlessness and good futbol. Looking at the standings as of now, do you think they can turn this around? Honduras is ahead with 2 and Mexico with 1. I really have faith that they can, now we need to start winnning. I think they can reach 3rd place or even 2nd place depending on the results of other matches. I would like to get your opinions, let me know what you think. Vamos Selecta! Si se puede!

People keep saying that this young and talented selecta, is a project for 2014, but Fk it! I want 2010! Just imagine the doors that will open for our football if we make it to Southafrica. I think that if we win this next game, our chances will blow wide open.
We've done it before and we'll do it again.
I was thinking the other day, that this loss against Costa Rica even serves us well for our mentality. ES players work best under pressure. (For example Panama, T&T and USA games). If they won the CR game, they would be all comfortable with the points earned and they surely would play a speculative game against MEX. But now they will win this game increasing their winning mentality, as well as their chances of making it to the WC.

i agree with you chill if we can make it to the WC this time around, then even better for ES. Yes they are young and talented without experience, however they have proven that they can hang with the big dawgs! It is just a matter of time and patience. As of now they have built a good morale, it is just time for them to get some wins. With that said we shouldn't give up on them because they will not give up on El Salvador. Do you guys agree?:)

Dudes, it would be so awesome!! to see El salvador play vs argentina, brazil, italy or spain. in next years WC. i still believe we can pull it together cause they're a young and hungry team.

I think we have a shot vrs mexico.

the games vrs costa rica, honduras and tnt are going to be real battles.

at el azteca i dont think we are getting any point, maybe we can grab a point here in the states.

it will be important to beat tnt away and to beat honduras twice. we have to beat costa rica at home, we have not other option.

Honestly, I think we are 4th place material, and justly we would have to go against Uruguay for a place at the WC. USA, Costa Rica and Honduras really deserve to go straight to the world cup.

I do believe we might be and can be better than all the teams in the Hex, but against the big teams, we always collapse at min. 70 of the game' our team just hits the floor with cramps because of bad nutrition.

Mex is crap who always made it with referees on their side and Trinidad just fell out of form after their problems and arguments after WC2006.
