What is the cheapest way of making it to the Chicago game?

I would like to get some tickets with SA as it will be the cheapest ticket, and the best atmosphere.

I am coming from Atlanta, most likely with one other person if I come.

Any one have ideas of how to make the trip without breaking the bank?

Thanks!

it's about $ 150 in round-trip gas money from ATL to Chicago at $ 2.00 per gallon. Drive it. If it's you and a buddy that's $ 75 a guy. package that with your $ 30 per night hostel that was linked above, plus sam's army tickets from their website and that's about as cheap as you can go.

Also if it's just yourself, Airtran is about $150-$200. It's still probably cheaper to drive but it's a nearly 12 hour drive, so if you stop and not do it in a single day you'll be spending even more then airfare would cost.

I'd imagine with spending money the minimum is probably like $350-$450 total cost.

If you're planning on using the hostel, get on the reservation ball right now as it's a weekend and it gets booked!

If you drive, you can always sleep in the car right!? ;)

I'm taking a train to Chicago, staying at my sisters apartment.

Don't have to pay for gas, or hotel.

Win and win.

Score 1 goal in 15 months in the UK and the USSF will pay for your expenses.

Unfortunately, no direct Amtrak route between Atlanta & Chicago, so it'd take too long.
