Hi- Im considering buying a new pair of football boots and I was wondering if anyone could give me some comment and feedback regarding the new Predator Pulse and the F50, what are they like? Any info is much appreciated, cheers

Take a look at the "Player" board (if you haven't already done so), where there are numerous threads devoted to boots. You'll get a wider audience on that thread anyway. FWIW, I gave up on Adidas four or five years ago (too many achilles tendon problems) and now wear (quite infrequently, since I "retired" in the summer of 2002) Puma Kings, which I like a lot.

I wore Adidas, Puma and Nike throughout my soccer (amateur) career.

The earlier Nike boots had quality problems.

I had, unlike wolfsburgh, never problems with Adidas shoes but somehow felt more comfortable in the newer Nike collections. So I am back to Nike.

I never bought the most expensive ones but shoes costing between 100 to 150 DM or now 60 to 90 Euro (you know...not the shoes hit the goals! *ggg*). So I can't really make comments about the Predator series.


p.s.: One of my first boots were some very cheap Pumas. I was 10 years old and my mom and me found them on a clearance sale. Costing 9 DM (what is about 5 Euro)!

After wearing those shoes for 1 year we gave them to a church charity junk market. Price.....10 DM!!!

As my mom saw that someone had paid 10 DM for those shoes she was ashamed and paid the new owners 5 DM back! *lol*
