Up a win and two goals. GH is right -- they'll have to try to attack and can't really play all 11 behind the ball. We should get some chances for Milan and Mikie on the break when we turn them away. We have to play smart, get an away goal, and get ready for a ten day break.
No reason to change:
--------Kirkland
Finnan---H---H----Carra
Murphy---SG--Didi---Harry
-------Owen--Baros
Subs:
Dudek
TLT
Emile
Biscan
Diouf

Sure, stick with the same line-up.
Goal #1: Get thru to the next round
Goal #2: Win like a team deserving of being in the Champions League next year.
Goal #3: Owen starts finishing (i.e. scores) like a player deserving of Champions League competition next year.

Agree with LB's lineup. But we can add two players to the squad (seven subs allowed in European Cup-ties), so I'd probably add Bruno and Traore (FSP and Riise didn't travel). Haven't seen any updates on Heskey's fitness, either.
Snow in Bulgaria:
"Officials from Levski Sofia are confident Wednesday night's match against Liverpool will get the go-ahead after the Bulgarian capital was hit by a snow storm today.
However, if the conditions deteriorate further in the next 24 hours there is the prospect of the game having to be played on Thursday night. "

I know for a fact that GH spends time on the Liverpool BS boards. So after reading this he'll know what his line up will be and how to play the counter attack, attack, attack.
He was planning on bunkering down for 90 mins but you guys have convinced him to keep Milan and Mikey loose.
Snow, geez. we played (Many moons ago) a final in Bootle and they marked the pitch with blue lines. I don't even remember the score I was so miserable. I lost so much skin on the icy crust.

Oh Grand Da did they use a pig bladder for a football in your day? or was it a Evertonians head?
Seriously, have you ever seen one of those Russian games with an orange ball?

Just once, years ago, in a medical journal. Looked awfully painful.

Hyypia clears an early attack from the Sofia kick-off.
Cheyrou wins a free-kick; comes to naught.
Fireworks, smoke bombs, boos and whistles, awful pitch . . . it's a night in Bulgaria.
We generally seem to getting the better of things.
5' 0-0

Thus far, H and H are steady. Murphy and Gerrard are playing well.
Gerrard steals a HORRIBLE back pass from Levski defender.
GOAL--STEVEN GERRARD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
6' 0-1; 0-3 aggregate. And an away goal.

Right-footed curler from Owen.
GOAL--MICHAEL OWEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ANd Owen 2-0
Ah too late.
Nice Owen goal should give jri on the rivalries palpitations. Owen's crap, not a patch on Clint Mathis. Apparently.

And shove something down my willy?
No thanks.
As for the game, I do hope those two quick goals haven't killed the game off.
Got to feel for the Levski players. They've got to score 5.

We have alot of frustrations to get out of our system, and this is the perfect time to do it...b/c simply beating a team like this isn't necessarily, ahem, "turning the corner". We need to absolutely crush them.
