Auxerre - PSG; Bon Match

Whew!!! as a soccer fan, Cisse's goal was tops. Kept saying to myself it's only a matter of time before he scores and that was based off the way Auxerre maintained a constant attack against us in the first half. Scoring @ 45', what better way to get into the head of another team. Seemed like the roles were reversed in the second half with us doing a great of attacking. I was also amazed at the pace of this match. Very fast first half.

I'm sorry, we had some whiney guy from Brazil playing for us last year. Does anyone miss what's his name -- lol

Great match...probably the best that I have seen since I started following Ligue 1 this season on FSW. Cisse is fantastic and will help Liverpool FC tremendously next season!

Auxerre's crowd/stadium was insane! Great atmosphere...was it only packed and nuts because PSG was there or is it like that all the time???

It probably was that way cause PSG was there.
Actually, Paris is the club everybody in France loves to hate.
It's due to the fact that Parisians are not really appreciated in France to say the least, cause they think we are obnoxious, arrogant, our way of living is too fast for them, and unfriendly. ( i can't say it's not true ).
All those qualities are it seems embodied by one club : PSG.
Add that to the fact that for a long time ( in recent history ) this club was considered to be full of Prima donnas, and you got a winner.

But Auxerre also has a great group of supporter who are always there when the team needs them, especially during big matches.
And the attendance is also great due to the fact that Auxerre is a very small city.
