Saw he scored 2 goals last week and looked pretty good in the highlights.
Any comments from our boys in France?

he's doing good, it's obvious that he has a great talent
i think we'll see the best of him the next season, since this season rennes' objective is to stay in ligue1 and to build a good group for next season, with a great generation of young players

Sounds very promising.
How are the crowds for Rennes?

Am interested in this as well. Atleast he got a good scoring ratio so far...
Impressed that he adapted so soon, joined in in middle of the season, and it should be considered that he played a completely different position in sweden, as a defensive midfielder.
But you will see the best of him next season, for sure.

I thought he was an attacking mid in Sweden, same for Rennes.

no he was a defensive midfielder. But he was a lousy defender to be honest;) It worked in our poor league but thats it...
Lazlo Bölöni (rennes coach) in a interview immediately expressed that Källström had no future as a defensive midfielder when he bought him.

Gotcha. Basically he was an attacking defensive midfielder, who rarely played defense.
:D

=) nah, he had plenty of effort tp defend to be honest, but he just couldnt tackle to save his life and had zero positional sense :)

all the more reason to make him an attacking mid instead of defensive.

Källström is already a key player in the team, but like always with that kind of player, we will keep him only one season more...

I think you are right, end of the 2005 season he'll be packing his bags again for a bigger paypacket.
Enjoy him while you can, and hopefully he can help get the team into Europe.
