The worst part of it for Fergie is that he knows that he is to blame for much of their failure. He certainly should have invested in a defender during the January transfer window. It was clear by then that Rio was going to be banned for the rest of the season.

I just love Fergie. It's amazing that a club that is "going into administration next season" has somehow convinced a consortium of banks to lend them nearly 650 million pounds.
