Tresor Lomana Lua Lua has expressed his surprise that Newcastle United will allow him to play against them for his loan club Portsmouth when the two sides clash on Sunday.
The Congo international was snapped up on loan from Newcastle by Harry Redknapp, but the usual clause stopping players featuring against their owners has not been invoked - to the shock of Lua Lua.
This could have been prevented. Why the hell did we let him play against us?!

Heads must roll for this one. First the Bowyer situation (at least they haven't lost any games because of it, yet) and now this?? Someone needs to be reading the contracts closer. Doesn't the club have a lawyer or some other sort of compliance officer? This is a real crap sandwich, and I really hate taking a bite. Especially when the team needs to put distance between Charlton and Liverpool.
Thx,
Jay!

Perhaps the deal would not have gone through. Who knows? But once again the lads falter late....

Lua Lua was sent to Pompey on loan during the transfer window. I'm not sure whether the club tried to buy him but Newcastle said only on loan, plus Pompey had to pay a loan fee AND pick up his salary.
Maybe that's why he was allowed us...
...stupid Fat Freddy...he has no one to blame for this mess but himself; no wonder he's been so quiet.
