Boro certainly are...omly problem is they are 11 points behind Newcastle and the table doesn't lie. One cup win in 128 years or whatever hardly qualifies a team as #1. But enjoy your one round in Europe next season cause thats all you'll be getting for probably the next 128 or so years.

more silverware recently....yes. More silverware overal than the toon....not even close.

thats like liverpool claiming to be a better team than arsenal because they have more trophies in the past. Face it, you havent won anything worth looking at for 49 years....

How could that be claimed as Arsenal are higher up in the table than Liverpool right now and clearly better? Saying a team is the best in a certain region because they won a cup, yet are 11 points behind another team in the region, hardly classifies them as better team. Besides I recall two victories by the toon this year over this best club in the Northeast. Just an observation thats all.
