No Stuttgart supporters here?

Well I will certainly be cheering them on.

I am not familiar with their lineup but here is their team sheet for tonight.

Tor: Timo Hildebrand, Dirk Heinen

Abwehr: Andreas Hinkel, Boris Zivkovic, Marcelo José Bordon, Fernando Meira, Heiko Gerber, Philipp Lahm

Mittelfeld: Silvio Meißner, Jurica Vranjes, Christian Tiffert, Emanuel Centurión, Alexander Hleb, Horst Heldt, Zvonimir Soldo

Angriff: Cacau, Imre Szabics, Kevin Kuranyi

Based on their recent dip in form a win might be too much for them but Bayern proved critics otherwise last night and hopefully Stuttgart can too.

If you look at the side assembled and their league performances, Chelsea seem rather erratic. So, VfB could have a chance tonight too.

Your right about Chelsea's league form being up and down this year, but they have generally been very good in Europe. Chelsea have a lot of experiance in their team. Also they have Crespo and Duff back for tonights match. Should be a great game.

I'm English, so COME ON VfB!!
If Stuttgart can defeat Man U at home, then they can surely beat the pretenders in World football. Their possibly most creative forward, Mutu is injured, doesn't travel. Duff isn't fit, just grab his shoulder, as he's 60% likely to re-suffer the injury as he decided against an op. Crespo has only just got back after another injury and of course Veron miraculously picked up yet another big injury. No Cudicini I think, and Neil Sullivan is, umm, rubbish.

FT: 0 - 1 (meiria o.g)

Tough match for Stuttgart.

Lahm played super, so impressive how far this guy has come since last season in the Bayern amateurs.

Does anyone think Stuttgart can pull out a win on the road. Chelsea has faltered some at home.

Stuttgart have really fallen apart since the winter break. They just can't seem to win and so based on their form I expect them to bow out of the Champions League. A win is very unlikely.
