Jajajaja alemanwanako!!
I don't know about this....Alvarez was saying the same "the country of my parents".
El azul se vive, se siente, se respeta y lo llevas tatuado en el cerebro. Punto
The language issue might be a problem also. I donīt know if the guy can speak spanish or the rest of the defense can speak english BUT THEY NEED TO TALK in order to work.

What is it with us and English names. I cannot count the number of Charlies, Richards, Miltons, Ralphies, Roberts, Joshuas, and many more, that Ive heard. My family is guilty of this too. And then Steve Purdy? Totaly unrelated to the topic I know, but it seems like Salvadorans arent giving kids Spanish names anymore.
Anyway.....If he opts to do it why not. As long as he makes a firm decision early on and doesnt hover around with it.

Ive heard of some silly names that came from that name-movement. I met some poor kid named " GERBER " , that ridiculous. Another person I knew was name "WILBER" .

It was cool to name the mestizo kids after movie stars and tv stars back then. Since american movies and american tv was HUGE everybody named their kids after Anglo-American names.
Very few creoles stayed with the old Spanish names.
Pop culture stuff.
Steves mom is Salvadorena but his dad is German and he was borned here I think. He has a reason not to have an Spanish name.

He played 90 minutes against Chicago last week. I believe he gave away the penalty that led to the Fire's go ahead goal.

Oh weird, even the commentators said today was his debut match too. Anyways Purdy isn't playing bad against Chivas USA.

Steve Purdy is playing decently. To be honest, i think our defenders are stronger. Pacheco is better, Salazar, and Anaya are better. But it would be nice to have some more depth.
