If I wanted to make one, what veggies should be grilled to enhance the flavor?

Watsup mate? I work produce at a grocery store so im pretty familar with items. White Onions, Yellow and Orange Bell Peppers (Although red and green work too, but not as sweet) and some chopped Anaheim chillies are always good for me.

And a lot of booze in your gullet to protect you from the gut-bomb you are about to eat.

BACON WRAPPED HOT DOGS 2: The Quickening.

Seriously, the carts are completely illegal, but the fans DEMANDED them and the G's FO/HDC Corp relented for once. Hope your home version is good, but it'll never have that LA funk that gives them the extra oomph.

Cheers!

if you're gonna do it, do it right. Go to Harbor Freight Tools (there is one in Orlando) and get this http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/displayitem.taf?Itemnumber=5107

Then get 3 cans of sterno.

Get a cookie sheet.

Go to a store on the wrong side of town for your food supplies. By as much of your materials as possible off of the "it's expired or about to expire so it's discounted rack." You will need white onions, yellow and orange bell peppers, anaheim chillis, hot dog buns, hot dogs, mayo, mustard, ketchup and bacon.

Wrap the bacon around the hot dog while both are still uncooked.

Cook several slices of bacon on a cookie sheet laying across the cart using cans of sterno fuel beneath the cookie sheet as your heat source. You will notice that the bacon will create a nice pile of grease. Feed the cooked bacon to your dog.

Now in the grease, place your bacon wrapped hot dogs, the veggies and the chillis. cook until the bacon is crispy and the hot dog is hot.

Take a bun and open it, place the hot dog side down in the grease and soak up as much grease as possible into the bun. Then place the hot dog into the bun. Top with the veggies, and a light serving of the condiments.

Then ask yourself, can you please put a chilli on that, and then take one of the chillis and put it on your hot dog because they never do it unless you ask.

That's about as close as you are going to get.

If I were you I would book a Jet Blue flight from Orlando to Long Beach and back. Come hang with the Riot Squad before the game, drink several beers, enjoy the match, and get the real deal after the match. The whole trip would only be a couple hundred bucks.
