I guess the idiot doesn't remember that "lowly Koblenz" was docked three points before this season started and had they not been, they'd be even with 1860 on points right now.

"Lowly Koblenz" also has the exact same win-loss record as 1860 right now too.

Both clubs have 9 victories, 7 draws and 11 losses.

So, if Koblenz is "lowly", I guess that means 1860 is too.........

Have to agree with FootyFan1 on this since the point deduction was noted at beginning of season and is still noted on Kicker. Teams seem to be at a even level and both have work to do to stay mid-table this season and be competative next season.

By-the-way, Tschauner has show well this season with a 2.83 (or was it 2.63) Kicker rating and has played most games. Young keepers take time to develop. While I agree with Hoffman's experience, 2 BL clubs need to develop thier young players and let these players (along with 2-3 key veteren additions) key them to promotion.

Once you have a legitimate promotion campaign going, add two players on the cheap to take you over the top during the winter break. Offload non-performers as well.

If promotion occurs, then you can make some key investments based on increased tv revenue sharing and additional funds from trikot sponsors et al. Main concern was the AA financial drain and realistic usage of the Olympicstadion or Grünwald facility. I understand that location is everything. However, I would think the fans would turn out at either location and that renovations at the Grünwald would be far cheaper then continuing at the AA. The Olympicstadion may be too big a venue and woud anticipate higher renovation costs and usage as well.

Maybe not. You're on the spot and would likely know much better.

Initialy forecast of rennovations at GW put the price tag upwards of 50m. With 1860's poor credit rating we could not get the money to do that, so the city would have to fund it...and they just funded a stadium.;) Actually, there is a report that Bayern is being investigated for the AA deal by the EU and that they may have to repay the City some $$ if EU rules were broken or bent.

Besides, not only would we have to raise the $$ to refurbish GW, we would have to pay out Bayern for the remainder of our contract which would be circa 25m. We just don't hve the cash.

Classic Catch 22: Would need tons of money to refurbish the stadium, but if we had the money would could simply stay whee were are no problem and avoid the stress of moving. Rmember: You can only see Major Major when he is out; when Major Major is in you cannot see him.:cool:

That's what I remember passing out to when I was over there. I would stagger in at 1030 or 11pm, turn on the TV and find the quiz show, some erotic stuff, and a LONG commercial or series of commercials for 1-900 lines.

Back in the day, they did have some quality erotic TV late at night. But the quality has suffered greatly.

Even the pay stuff (I have some with my full Premiere package) isn't great anymore. They try to get you to pay even more for the better stuff.

I guess they don't know if guys really want to have a wank, they'll just download some shit from the computer.
