Yes, you read that right. I could not believe it myself when I was looking for the most recent list.

Here (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TSV_1860_Munich#Manager_History).

Thorandt to St. Pauli, no fee
Schick to Augsburg, no fee
Baumgartlinger to Rapid Wien, no fee
Wow, Stevic is really holding on to the talent, huh?

Suddenly, being a Newcastle fan doesn't seem that bad. :P

Too bad I also cheer for '60.

Dude, it get's worse....

Lienen, the new coach, is quoted as saying in the press today: "The management (Reuter, Kurz, Wolf, Ziffzer) who came before me, spent their time selling off the young talent that I would ahve kept to be successful."

Clearly Stevic and Stoffers have not shown him the books or Lienen is showing just how f#&king stupid he is in matters off the pitch. He is claiming he wants to keep a whole bunch of players and that he will. And yet, today we read that Schick and Baumgartlinger, one of the ones HE wants to keep, are gone.

I think Lienen is in for a HUGE f&cking surprise this summer.

Well, honestly it does not surprise me. Wolff and Schick were very close and they were seen together recently. My guess is he told him flat out to get the hell out of 1860 and get with a club that was going somewhere other than down. 1860's mamangement has a horrid reputation right now since the Reuter affair and Wollf likely told Micki Schick to move on.

I can very well imagine this is exactly what happened.

If Lehmann goes to FCA as well, I have to say that 1860 is dearly doomed.

What makes you think Lehmann would even consider returning to 1860. Hell man, Lauth and Bierofka only came back because neither one had anywhere else to go. Same with Aigner and Rösler at the winter break this season.

Dude, talents didn't just start running away from Sechzig. They are running for a reason. First, it was more money. Now, it is like you said before, rats deserting a sinking ship. What makes you think one of those rats wants to jump back on the sinking ship if it isn't for any other reason than no other options??

For Stevic to lose such a gifted young player FOR FREE just shows how f&#cking stupid he REALLY is!!!! Reuter would have been signing future talent all spring rather than making them feel like they had to *earn* their place on a shitty team. Crap, how out-to-lunch *IS* he?

Right on. Reuter was better at making them feel wanted and made them feel like they would be a part of the resurrection of a great club. With Stevic, I think they know they are dealing with the captain of the Titanic........

BTW, rumor is Baumgartlinger is gone too.

Yep. According to Transfermarkt.de, he's already signed with Austria Vienna. The thing is, they say the clubs did not disclose a transfer fee and Baumgartlinger should have moved on a free.

I don't recall ever reading that there was a club option on his contract......

BTWA....here is some of the crap I have to put up with from 1860 fans. How stupid are they? See below:
What you all craying after Michael Schick after? He is a mediocre player who has not shown any justification for such praise, and not had a single call up to the DFB or even to the amateurs. He is good in standards but anything else? He has a fatal weaknesses in the offensive and defensive game. His positioning and speed are equal to Torben Hoffmann meter for meter. When he plays up we usually loses the ball and makes many bad passes. He certainly has some talent in terms of shooting techniques and ball handling, and a fighter's heart, but he no help next year or beyond. The decision by Lienen/Stevic to send him again to the amateurs was correct. Perhaps he could have developed more there. For FCA no big gain.

Clearly the crack pipe is passed around and fan club meetings if this is at all a viewpoint of ANY Sechzge fan. To equate Schick with Hoffmann in anything other than liberal use of hair gel just illustrates how moronic such a comparison would be. You might as well compare your skin coloring to mine and make comparisons on how close in shade we are. I mean JESUS, HOW F&%CKING STUPID IS THIS DUMBASS?!?!?!?

For me, that's no surprise. I talk to Sechzig fans here nearly every day and most of them seem to be on f#cking Mars or living in that river in Egypt.......

You know. "De Nile...." ;)

Keith, I really hate to utter these words, but I TRULY fear 1860 is going down. This is the same shit I saw in the 1980s when our club management had their head SOOOO far up their asses we spent untold years in the Oberliga Bayern. I really think we are headed back down again.

Garry, I've been thinking that since right around match day 25.

I knew it wouldn't happen this season, but next, I can definitely see it happening if some things don't turn around quickly....... :(

I don't think Lienen is that stupid. I think he's simply towing the company line.

But I wonder how many FANS believe it. And I wonder if Lienen is going to wind up as a "Klinsmann-like" scapegoat about 10 weeks into next season.

What makes you think Lehmann would even consider returning to 1860.

I think he would if there was substance behind the talk. What I am hearing now is that we have become more than just a joke in footballing circles.:o

Dude, talents didn't just start running away from Sechzig. They are running for a reason.

I know. My point was that at least Reuter tried to hold on to them and Lienen is acting like they were dumbasses for not doing so. And then, literally on the same day as he makes such an idiotic statement, a few ofthe people HE wants to keep..leave. So, why didn't HE stop it? 'nuff said herr lienen.

Yep. According to Transfermarkt.de, he's already signed with Austria Vienna. The thing is, they say the clubs did not disclose a transfer fee and Baumgartlinger should have moved on a free.
There is no fee...he's free. We have no option on him.

Yeah, I mean I felt the relegation battle coming on...it's an annual thing. But now I really think this club is headed towards the 3.BL and below. Hard to see sooooo much potential and yet, total morons ruining the club I love. It's like watching someone drink themselves to death.

I had the same feeling with BVB and its management in the early 2000's. But no one would listen to me.

AZ: Mr. Stevic, Ewald Lienen has complained that 1860 has, in the past, squandered talent.
MIKI STEVIC: I understand the anger of Ewald. He has lost many young, good players for his squad. This was a mistake, but I want to focus on the future.
[ROFL....SQUANDERED???? Clearly they have a different idea of talent than we do. We did not have the money to sign them and lure them into contracts!!!! How the hell is HE going to do it???!!!!]

AZ: Julian Baumgartlinger would be one for the future. Why couldn’t you keep him?
MIKI STEVIC: We did everything to keep him. But his frustration, his disappointment was so great that we lost the battle for his heart. The only Important thing is that we learn from these mistakes.

AZ: What do you do differently?
MIKI STEVIC: Each of the newcomer tries to make things better. We are just now closing out the season. Let’s see what happens as we begin the new season.
[What a dodge!!! If this is not evidence at how bereft of ideas this arschloch is, I don't know what is.]

AZ: A serious beginning: The money is scarce in 1860, eleven contracts expire ...
MIKI STEVIC: Should I cry now? The financial situation is a problem people have known about for many years.

AZ: Are personnel decisions already taken?
MIKI STEVIC: José Holebas has shown us some good performance. The old-timer Keeper Michael Hoffman has likely another year in prospect. We're talking about it.

AZ: Renewal sounds different ...
MIKI STEVIC: Of course, we want to get new faces. We will therefore get some new, experienced players here. Only then can the young players develop.

AZ: Managing Director Stoffers said: "There's a supply tsunami" ...
MIKI STEVIC: We are overwhelmed by the economic crisis. The choices are very wide. But we will certainly not only focus on the popular names people expect us to get, but also bring in people whom nobody expects. But we are always on the lookout for quality young people.
[How this bastard can make this comment and then give such a flip response below about a talented kid like Schick just shows what a lying sack of human shit he is.....read on]

AZ: Michael Schick leaves?
MIKI STEVIC: Michael Schick has indicated to the coach that he will leave the club.

AZ: Why?
MIKI STEVIC: We could not guarantee him first team play. We have other plans.
[And FCA is going to show Stevic and Lienen what a f&#king mistake it was to let him go]

AZ: Lienen has said he is upset that under his predecessors the AC Florence player Nikola Gulan had no chance.
MIKI STEVIC: It was a personal defeat for me that he has not played. But the decision is the trainer's.

AZ: The AC Florence will probably not be likely to lend you any more players?
MIKI STEVIC: Honestly, I dare not call there at this moment. AC Florence is very angry that we have a player who just sat on the bench. I can understand that. He started for the first time this season in the finale in Nuremberg.
[What he CONVENIENTLY leaves out is the fact that Gulan got injured in training immediately AFTER coming to 1860, took a long time to heal and, by that time, really was not fitting in.]

AZ: Gulan is leaving, but perhaps at least Antonio Rukavina stays?
MIKI STEVIC: I have worked with Borussia Dortmund on a retention. Rukavina feels very comfortable here and has settled very quickly. We are working to ensure that they continue to accommodate us.

Well, the list grows longer. Now gone are....

Schick
Thorandt
Baumgartlinger
Gulan
Rukavina (though Stevic says is hi trying to work a deal)
Burkhardt
Hosinier (U23) stiker
Tausendpfund (U23) central back
Roesl (U23) b/u GK
The loss of Hosinier and Tausenpfund is a big loss. These were very talented kids coming up. Roesl is not a big deal. At one point was a great young keeper but got caught reading his own clippings and stopped trying.

According to Kicker, he's moving to Rostock. (http://www.kicker.de/news/fussball/2bundesliga/startseite/artikel/509412)

Well, I have to say how is this year different from any other year, i.e. the mass exodus of players out of contract leaving 1860.

The only difference was that Reuter was shrewd and actually got a fee for selling off the young guys. Stevic is continuing the usual pre-Reuter 1860 tradition of letting them go for free.

Reuter didn't get fees for the ones who were out of contract when they got away. If I'm not mistaken, Milchraum, Lehmann, Adler and Baier all left on free transfers.

The difference is that all the players I just named had bigger salaries offered by arguably "bigger" clubs.

Where Reuter would have done a better job than Stevic is that he would have gotten kids like Schick extended well before their contracts ended.

Stevic was dumb enough to believe those kids would 'beg' to stay at 1860.

Reality just bitch-slapped his stupid ass.......

Oh well. So much for getting a good keeper. I like the rebuilding Hansa nad FCA are doing. If I switch to folloing Hansa I don't have to give up anything blue/white.

Agreed. He was good at that. We kept Ghivinaidze, the Benders, Jungwirth and Baumgartlinger as long as we did because of him...and Kurz and Wolf.

If you read the interview above you will see how clueless and evaisive in answering questions he was. He litterally has no clue OR he is on the verge of a series of very big coups in the transfer market.

All evidence points to the former.

Yes, but, Schwarz can play both, as can Schick. Both have speed, can overlap, etc. I would KILL to have one on each side of our defence.

I have no other way to put it. Here are just a few of the offseason grumblings I am hearing/reading:

Hofmann: Stevic told him in April he would most certainly get a year's extension. Now the lying sack of shit is telling Hofmann that they need to "work a few things out first, then they can talk to him". Hofmann is a guy who has been with the club for 13 years!!! He has had offers. Hell, he is quoted (http://www.abendzeitung.de/sport/tsv_1860/109210) as saying, "1860 is my club, I don't know if many others can make such a claim." Damn F&CKING right Michi...this IS YOUR club and you deserve better!! Tell me if THIS is not a shot at someone, says Hofmann, "I have seen in the last few months that I still have 'it'. And I am an honest character.'" One fan said it best: MICHI HOFMANN FUßBALLGOTT!!!
New #1 Keeper: Clearly 1860 is going after another keeper. Even Hoffman is quoted as saying, " I have heard that they are seeking a new #1." Seems ex-loewen Timo Ochs is availabe from EnegeryDrink Salzburg for a free. If they take him and have Tschauner still under contract, Michi is odd man out. What a sucky way to treat your "record player".
Pourie: Rumor is that the Fraulien is pressing Schalke to force a release of him from 1860 to another club where he can be "guaranteed" first team play....at 18!!! Douchbag.
Baumgartlinger and Transfer Fee: Keith, seems the reason 1860 got something from Wein for him was a little used FIFA rule where players that spend 8 or more years with a club and are available on a "free" are still owed something to the departing club as a development fee. Hence the 350k fee. Given how players move around so often it is a very little used clause.
