Seriously, the ONLY chit 1860 has to play is in the actual cost structure..

Is it "chit"? I always thought it was "chip" as in Poker chip?

That's what I get for typing fast...was meaning "chit", was thinking "$hit".:D

Nope, meant chit, as in a written slip of paper given to a creditor in payment for a debt which can be later called in by the creditor. As in "He called in all the chits that were owed him."

Of course, I could be wrong...but Merriam Webster says this (http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/chit[2]).

I rent a town home with my wife. Actually, the area is getting very affordable (by D.C. standards) We will buy eventually, just waiting for the market to drop a little further. We might end up in Del Ray or S of town off Rte. 1.
FFC schools are better than Alexandria City schools anyway.;)

Nobody makes any real money in football domestically. Thus, I have a real job.
You should talk to PanicFC offline. You guys have TONS in common.:D

My wife works as the Director of Public Policy for a major non-profit healthcare foundation/organization.
My sister-in-law works for one of the HC associations too. My brother has been in the association game for nearly 25+ years. Right now Dubai is giving him big $$$ opening health associations overseas. If he needs help and you want a piece of that action send me a PM.

I play for the Mt. Vernon Soccer Club and LandWarriors FC O-40.

MVSC....was that NVSL? Land Warriors I remember. I only played over 30 with Fairfax in 2001 before I left for Germany. Prior to that it was with Old Dominion FC. That was actually the first time since I stopped playing after college and my oh-so-successul tryout at Koeln in 1982. THAT went REAL well as you can see.

Alexandria schools have really improved. Matter of fact, Lyles Crouch Traditional Academy, was named the top Public Elementary school in the state last year. My daughter is excelling there and the school is three blocks away. GW has improved as well. A great deal of the "gang bangers" and discipline issues have been addressed as the quality of the students and increased income levels (and influence) of parents has taken hold.

Fairfax County Schools are good as long as you live in the right area and know the schools before you move or buy a house in the area.

PanicFC and I have been in touch and I think some networking has started. Thanks.

LandWarriors is the NVSL O-40 side. MVSC is the NOVA Coaches League side I play on every Saturday, year-round, rain, sleet or shine. Two divisions, 20 teams per division. I played on the Screaming Eagles FC WISL and Mont. County First Division and O-30 side when I lived in Tacoma Park from 02-05.

I'll send a private message over the weekend.

I may want into this action as well though I know the Kappa Trikoten run very small. I'll need and XL . 39.90 Euro equates to $53.07 plus shipping. Not bad at all.

Let me know if someone is making the arrangement.

Kappa out, Erima in. Have one and they are sweet. Normal sizing and do not have to adjust for the Kappa Guido-the-Killer-Pimp fit either.:D

Sorry. Had a Senior moment.

So used to them being in a KAPPA kit. :o

Actually, the old Nike kit was one of my favorites. One of very few Nike kits I like. Erima been around a long time. Honestly hadn't seen them involved until recently.

Is the Goool brand still running. Have a BvB 09 black kit.

If you guys start coming up with superb plans to take over US Soccer, I want in!! :D

This would involve nothing less then Plastic explosives under Gulati's arse!

They wouldn't like me in control of USSF. Beer would flow and the Blood would spill. All done with soundtrack by Thin Lizzy!:D The end of the first day!

Then the hard work would begin of alligning the USL and MLS as well as eliminating the ODP and revamping the entire youth devlopment sytem and scouting combine to reflect that of the DFB.

Ahhh . . . to dream!

Ernst Tanner, the head of the 1860 youth develop system, is rumored to be leaving for Wacker Burghausen. I hear he just had enough of what is going and and sees the writing on the wall. This guy, and several of the coaches, are the reason we have scouted and developed so many good young players in the last 10 years.
The "stadium project group" that was formed this past weekend to investigate options for 1860 has the german boards all a twitter. Many see this as the beginning of getting out of the AA. Oddly enough, after citing the reasons for leaving the AA (high rent, lack of money, etc), these same Einsteins are expousing getting a large loan to either build our own stadium or refurbish the GW stadion. Hmmmm, I wonder who pays the bills in THEIR family?

I am absolutely with you there, but the MLS will never let it happen. Not from what I have read and seen, anyway.

Dunno, never tried to use their net service since it is pay-per-view and pretty $$$. I support Loewen TV.

Yes, I know you do... ;)

I will get Loewen TV before the start of next season. I presume they take American credit cards on their website.

Are you talking about "Jailbreak" for the soundtrack?

Yeah, this is crazy.

but if either Woody or I are in charge of USSF - let the chips fall where they may, we will kick ass and take names and we will have a unified league.

Now I may not run with promo/relegation, but I will look to that in the future.
