Seems earlier in the week Marvin Pourie got into a mix up with Torben Hofmann during practice. They had hand-bags at 20 paces and it was broken up. At the time Wolf said nothing more about it than "these things happen in training".

Later in the week Pourie, being the youngest on the squad, was asked to handle some light work such as brining bibs out to the team, moving equipment, etc. This is usually work for the "rookies" on the roster. However, seems Pourie ignored the work request and just plain did not do it.

Fast forward to yesterday during practice when again, during a challenge from Torben, Pourie was "fouled" and Wolf did not whistle it (purposely). Pourie started complaining really loud when several veterans just told him, "shut up and move on". Pourie's father, who attends all practices, called him over and told him they were leaving. Wolf, caught off guard by this rather childish maneuver, said, "Marvin, if you leave now you will never play for me on the profi team as long as I am head coach." Marvin went with his daddy and left the field.:mad:

Just like a true Scheisse player.

Pourie will fit right in along with the other sissies in Gelsenkirchen.........

From what I udnerstand he showed up acting like a freak'n prima dona and has basically alienated himself.

Ah, to be 18 and a national team player. Has he not heard of Berkant Goektan?:cool:

He'd just got signed to a nice contract by Schiesse. He probably thinks he's too good for Sechzig.

What sucks is that you'll probably see Pourie right back in the lineup next season.

Wolf won't be the coach and as far as I remember, Pourie's loan runs through next season.

Well, the FUN part of this is Wolf is actually quoted as saying that "Miki and I are of the same mind on this course of action." So, unless the back-stabbing bastard actually comes out NOW and says something, he HAS to support this action.;)

Wolf is smart in that.

I knew that. But he only has to "support" it for the rest of this season.

When Wolf goes, this little punk will be back in.

Well, I think Stevic might paint himself into a hole if he does not come out NOW and say he disagrees with Wolf. Otherwise he will look really stupid when asked "you agreed with suspension in april, why change now?"

He'll simply say the boy has been punished enough and deserves a second chance. And no one will dispute that.

Just because Stevic agrees now, it doesn't mean he can't decide suspension for the rest of this season is enough punishment.

Stevic has done enough to show us what kind of idiot he is.

However, I think he's actually played this one right. Even if he doesn't agree with Wolf, he gives the appearance of backing his coach, which will be important to Wolf's authority over the team for the rest of the season.

And when the new coach allows Pourie back next season, Stevic will look like he's backing up his new coach's "decision".

So, while he's probably being two-faced again, this time, he might be doing it for the right reason.

Well, unless the players he has rubbed ther wrong way are no longer there (long list btw), bringing him back would be a huge mistake.

Yes, but if they can't get out of the loan deal, can they really afford to just not play him??

True, but here's how I see it:

Lady Pourie will be pissed about being kicked off of the profi team. His whole reason for the loan was that he could bet 2.BL playing time after earning the right to play for the profi team. Playing for the U23s he can do in Schalke.
Some other team will contact Schalke about getting him for their squad (think other 2.BL team or 3.BL team).
Schalke will contact 1860, discuss the change to the loan agreement and the other club will assume the loan costs.
Lady Pourie will pack his matching Coach luggage set, clean out his locker, get in his pink VW Beetle convertible with the flower stickers on it and vase on his dashboard, and will drive to whatever team has the balls to hirer such a f@cking, douch-bag putz.
Edit: His daddy has already contacted his agent about a new club loan.

I agree with all except one. I think daddy dearest will contact Schalke with other clubs who want Fraulein Pourie before Schalke contacts 1860. I don't think any of them will approach Schalke.

Fraulein Pourie just ain't that good yet.......

Have seen him play in both training and teh few games. Honestly, I think he is marginally better than Holebas, which ain't saying a great deal. I think Fetsch is MUCH better than Pourie is.

I got an email on some of the shiite the boy did during his time there. He was a ego time bomb waiting to go off. Because he was a U18 national team player he thought his shiite did not stink. He was reminded SEVERAL times that many, many of the 1860 players also had U-x caps too and that just because you have a few U18 caps does not make you the next Gerd Mueller.

The kid and his father have MUCH to learn.

Well, off now to coach my girls in a tournament. They played last night against a group of young amazons and beat them 1-0.:D I swear this team had three girls who were 5ft tall....at age 8!!!!! I nearly asked the tournament officials for an ID check. My team is VERY small, but after they learned not to be afriad of them we simply played our game and, with a TON of luck, got our 1-0 win. Off now to see if we can go undefeated. Honestly, the girls are just gased to be in the tournament...tons of fun for them.

1-1 against Oberhausen. Will post a game analysis later. Suffice to say 1860 was lucky to walk with a 1-1 there. Very boring match.

On the amusing front, Klinsmann has been jobless for a few hours now and already the "rumors" from some 1860 fans are that he will join 1860.:rolleyes:

I am speechless at the mentality of some.

I think Klinsi will hang around until the end of the school year then pack his family up and take them back to Cali.

And do they really think Klinsmann would reduce himself to working for Stevic???

As you know all too well, when have some 1860 fans EVER been rational?

My guess is JK goes back to Cali and takes over the Galaxy after Arena gets fired this summer. Or, there are always the USMNT rumors.

I really don't see him coaching in MLS. I think if he has anything to do with that league, it will be as an executive.

I suspect he'll take another shot a club football here sometime down the line. Perhaps he'll truly return home after Bayern poaches Babbel from Stuttgart.

Babbel? For the U23 team? You honestly think he is worth something?

Dude, if Stuttgart wins that title and does half-way decently next season, you bet your ass Bayern will poach him.

Especially if Kahn takes over for Uli.

Hell, if Kahn takes over for Uli before they hire another coach, Kahn might not wait to go get Babbel.

It's not what I think. It's what THEY think.

I'm only expressing what I think they are thinking.

And from what I'm seeing, Uli and KHR are making the mistake I accuse so many Germany coaches of making.

They let the press make their decisions.

If they can't get a "big name" right away and Stuttgart continues to do well, sure they'll go after Babbel.

Him or Klopp. I have no doubt in my mind.
