Holy crap! Just when it looked too good to be true, it was. Yep. We need instant replay. Snake-bit is what comes to mind.

What a finish to tonight's match.
And I'm a bit surprised they drew 25,000 for a Monday night match. Most people here get DSF and could have watched the match at home.
Stevic went after the ref a bit after the match. The DFB will be talking to his stupid ass.

SCREWED...
Sechzig deserved the full 3 points from this match, especially for their effort at the end of the match. Unreal. Officiating was spotty, at best.

Dude, from what I saw, Sechzig was better in the beginning and at the end.
In-Between, FCK was better.
At least in my opinion. Except for the bad call on the goal line, I feel the draw was deserved.
FCK did luck out, but they did do enough to deserve the draw.
Again, at least in my opinion......

Mamma mia, what thrilling last 15 minutes (I watched only the last 25 mins)! The not given "Wembley goal" was clearly a regular goal, but it's surely not easy for the linesman & referee to see that.

Impossible for them to see if that was a goal, linesman would have been at least twenty meters away.
Don't like 1FCK's Kappa GK uniform - "Why is Totti in goal?"

Quick start to the match tonight. F#cking Schaeffler!
Agree. He should have played Lauth in. Dumbass play. But, given that Stevic has basically forced players to be selfish by saying that "no one is safe" breads this type of play: trying to do it yourself. Still, no excuses.
Everyone say it together! MICHI HOFMANN!!! Garry, you will see what I mean!!
NEver been happier to have him in net. I actually said to myself that he was going to save it. Always been strong on PKs. Total BS call. More on that below.

Guys, having been a ref for 25+ years I have seen a ton of those. They are actually easier to see in stadia like that then on the college, semi pro and amateur fields I ref'ed on. With Sippel's bright red water bottle 1m behind the line and no other action to watch except for if the ball crosses the line, you would have to be BLIND not to see that....unless he was not watching it.
As far as the PK: Total bullshit call. Add to that the call-back of the second 1860 goal for a foul on Sippel, who was outside the 6m box and WAS NOT FOULED, and THEN the BS call when the ball was palyed out and it hit the AR only to bounce back into play but they called a throw in?!?!?!? Yeah, I think the officiating crew lost their focus in the second half. Prior to that they were calling a good match. Overall I think they were okay but they did have several very big patzers in the last half.
Stevic went after the ref a bit after the match. The DFB will be talking to his stupid ass.
We can only hope.

Normally I would agree with the draw. But when you put the ball in the back of the net 3 times and you only get 1 allowed, THEN you truly deserve a win. Had they not done that I would say a draw was deserved, even lucky. But having all those chances, putting 3 in and only coming away with a single point? Naw, that's taking it up the ass. But, that's football.
Don't like 1FCK's Kappa GK uniform - "Why is Totti in goal?"
Hate Kappa gay tight-ass Italian guido uniforms. Will NEVER buy one. Dude, FCK better damn well hope they do not get promoted, b/c if Sippel is their back-up he makes Tschauner look like Oliver Kahn. And THAT is pretty freak'n hard to do!!!!

I was off work for some reason and got a chance to see the 1860 v. 1FCK match. First off it was as intense as I expected with a lot of yellows early and often. I thought maybe we (1FCK) would steal it late with a questionable PK call but what a save! Then it looked like a goal for 1860 but there was a question of all of the ball crossing the line. I really couldn't tell if it did or not but it wasn't counted anyhow. It is a shame for us because we had a chance to move up and put ourselves in the mix for 3rd but it wasn't to be. Well played Lions!

All I can say is if they are not going to hire Wolf, which I think not to is completely idiotic, the only one on this list I would be able to get behind are: Finke, W. Wolf....
Shortened your list to those I agree MIGHT work for 1860. Geyer I respect too.
I was surprised they put Basler and "Loddar" on that list. As if either one of them would ever coach Sechzig?
They put anyone with a pulse and/or not working but holds a coaches license on that list. Hell, I honestly had to think if some of those guys were alive.
Dude, that f#cking idiot who looks like a freakin' nerd robot in Sechzig management is the halftime guest on Premiere.
The guy on LoewenTV said he [Stoffers] was on but could not hear what he was saying about him.
They're trying to get him to talk about scenes from the match and it really seems he knows nothing about the f#cking game!
He doesn't!!!!! He's from Festina watches!!!!!
He's saying Sechzig got their license with conditions and the conditions should be met by next Friday. ...[snip]....The announcer asked about Sechzig's outlook for the future and the guy said that perhaps in three weeks, they'll be announcing a new main sponsor, but they have "much interest."
LoewenTV reported that in 3 weeks time Stoffers will announce the new hauptsponsor who, he said, would bring in much needed cash to 1860. Now, unless we INCREASED our asking price for hauptsponship, I can hardly see how we will do any better than we have under Reuter.
The Premiere guys just asked about the goal of promotion next season and if it is realistic. The guy said he should ask Stevic.
This is the type of BS that is going on. Stoffers and Stevic are starting to spare. Rumor is Stevic is angling for Stoffers job in the same way he got Reuter's job.
The guy just admitted he knows nothing about the sports side of the house when asked about Beda, so I give him credit for that.
Yes, but THIS is the reason we are not doing well. We need a guy who knows football AND finances!!! Look at Maerklin, the toy train maker: Family business for over 140 years. In 2006 they get bought by a UK "investment firm" who then swallows up two other toy train makers (with huge debt). Now Maerklin is decalring bankruptcy. All because you have perfume guys running a toy company!!!! Same with 1860....cannot have a watch guy run a football club....unless his name is Abramovic and he has billions.
The announcer is peppering him about keeping players and this guy really thinks they have some type of right of first refusal on guys already there if their contracts are running out or not
LoewenTV quoted him as saying they will not have to sell the Benders or other "key" youth.
They asked if the team will be OK with a new coach and the guy basically said, "Sure, what difference will a new coach make?" This guy doesn't know SHIT! I know you can have guys who know nothing about football working finance, but you don't f#cking send them out to embarrass themselves and the club in front of the entire nation.
We agree...see rant above.
Why the f#ck didn't Stevic get up there and talk about this shit instead of having this Eddie Munster looking f#ckface get up there and answer easy questions with, "That isn't my job?"
Because Stevic is bankrupt of ideas and, when he opens his mouth, people find out what a f#cking moron he really is. He is aware of it now because Wolf has called him out severl times. The press guys around GW strasse basically laugh at Stevic behind is back b/c they all KNOW he is in WAY over his head. Stevic must have thought running 1860 would be like playing FIFA Manager '09 or something because he sure has been silent since firing Kurz. I think he knows now that everyone KNOWS he's full of $hit....Wolf sure does!!!!

I've seen Sippel play much better than today. I hope he is just rusty. Luis is making a case to return to the starting line up after he gets back if Sippel continues to play like that.

Yeah, 'cause with Sippel in there you are better off.;) Our Tschauner is a patzer king but Sippel makes him look like freak'n Kahn. If not for a great defense, the woodwork and some poor refereeing, Sippel would have hintergreift 3 times back there or more. BL angriff will make him look like freak'n Piplica.

Yeah, if you judged him on the day. I still hope he'll shake the rust off.
BTW when we were awarded the PK; I was clinching my hands praying it would somehow hit the back of the net. When it didn't go in I wasn't shocked. I think deep down I knew it wasn't going to happen. It was football justice but man I wanted all 3 points. :(

Hope so, he was awful. Didn't he get replaced last season when you guys were fighting relegation?

That call was just total BS. Had that for us on your end I would have been equally pissed off. That's was just never a PK. You'd have to be freak'n a contortionist to purposely get your elbow THAT high, THAT fast to mean it.
Oh well, like you said, that's football.

I believe he was replaced because of injury for a while but he did play in the last game of the season when we staved off relegation. He doesn't look like he ever really recovered from his broken arm this season. Although in this match it really was his decision making that let him down.

I have to agree that the call was total BS and had it gone against us I would have been fuming. It did hit his arm but I don't believe there was ever any intention. It is good that the PK was saved from one perspective but had it gone in I would have celebrated the 3 points. I just wouldn't have celebrated the goal or the mechanism that lead to it.
We really came looking for all of the points and I think it is a testament to the fighting spirit of 1860 that a draw was the result. Perhaps the Lions really ought to be higher in the table. I don't watch all of 1860's matches but if they always play like that then they must have had some rotten luck this season.

They didn't play like that all season. They have really just since Wolf took over.
And yes, they've had some rotten luck since then.

Truth be told, I will be sad to see Herr Wolf go at the end of the term. I think he has been good for the club. I am not saying anything bad about Kurz as I had similar thoughts of him, but there seems to be some fight with this club - in stretches, of course.
