Hmmmm.

After an International Break, and our CL tie with Chelski four days later.

Is anyone brave enough to name a squad now! :D

It's so far away...this thread is going to be lengthy for no good reason.

Here is my lineup...

-----------------------Cavalieri----------------------
Darby---------Kelly-------------San Jose------Insua
----------------Spearing--------Lucas----------------
Benayoun---------------Gerrard---------------Babel
----------------------------Ngog----------------------

;)

I don't think we'll see too many reserves because every league game is a cup tie now.

I know.

'Twas a joke.

We won't see any reserves, maybe some squad players, but probably no reserves, save for Spearing and NEZ.

Vasu beat me to it. Every match from here until the end of the season is a Cup Final.

Except of course the CL which is a quarter final, a Semi final, then the Cup final..:)

I know we always say the same thing, but this match is THE most important match we have played this season. If we manage to win, it won't only be 3 valuable points away from home in our toughest match away from Anfield on the run in, but also gives us the bonus to apply a huge amount of pressure on the scum for there match against villa on Sunday. At least for 24 hours, we'll be 1st if we manage to take the 3 points...

Got to win them all.

I suspect Mask-er-ano will be rested after a long flight from SA and with Chelski coming up midweek. The wide men will be dictated by Rafa's analysis of Fulham's weaknesses. I suspect Babel may play and Riera rest. Other than that I expect a settled side.

I don't care if we have to win ugly, as long as we win this freaking game.

Fulham is tough as nails at home this season but we're in great form and momentum is on our side.

If we concede a PK, hopefully our boy Murphy can do us a favor. ;)

Could anyone put together a list of player that are NOT away on international duty (Grinners, I'm looking at you! ;) )? I'm guessing Riera will be in the Spanish squad but probably won't play. Same with Arbeloa. Will Babel get much playing time with the Netherlands? Surely Dirk will play the full 90. What about Lucas? Is he in the Brazilian squad for their qualifiers?

The main concern, as pointed out by LB, is the long flight to/from South America for Masch, as well the fact that Argentina's second game is in La Paz :o .

Quite a logjam of fixtures coming up for us. Really shitty time for this interlull.

Here is my true projected lineup...

-----------------------------------Reina------------------------------------
Arbeloa-------------Carragher-------------Hyypia------------------Insua
--------------------------Lucas--------------Alonso------------------------
Benayoun------------------------Gerrard----------------------------Babel
------------------------------------Ngog------------------------------------

That would leave us with a Chelsea lineup looking like this...

------------------------------------Reina-------------------------------------
Arbeloa---------------Carragher------------Skrtel------------------Aurelio
----------------------Mascherano------------Alonso--------------------------
Kuyt---------------------------------Gerrard----------------------------Riera
----------------------------------------Torres----------------------------------

Of course, what do I know?! I am guessing we will see an interesting lineup, but don't be surprised to see the Babel, Benayoun, Ngog top three against Fulham.
