Wouldn't it be problematic for the scheduled march from McFadden's at 4 oclock, while the parking lots open at the same time? You can't do both at once

The only issue would be if you want to park your car at the stadium cause you have tailgate supplies. If not you can park anywhere on either side of the river well before 4:00 and get your car after the game.

I get where you are coming from, however I am sure alot of people will wish to park at the stadium. And with the lots opening at the same time as the march in, people will be scrambling about to park the car, only to go back to the restaurant, to march back where they came from.

I hope I'm making sense here and not gibberish, but I think the timing may hurt the march in.

I seem to remember (in this thread (http://www.bigsoccer.com/forum/showthread.php?t=966573)) that the March-In from McFaddens was at four, to join up with people tailgating. The way I saw it, we march from McFaddens as the Tailgaters start pulling in, and we can all tailgate. There was supposed to be a second March-In at about 5:45-6PM from the tailgating area to the stadium.

Basically, people setting up for the tailgate are supposed to miss the first march-in. The second March-In is the bigger of the two, because that will include the tailgaters, people who don't want to go to McFaddens (Perhaps parents with kids), as well as walk-up fans.

All this is moot if it rains on the first, march in will be direct from McFadden's at 5:30 or so.

Where the problem really lies is with the post-game party. I am all for the Big Bang bar, and barring that, my sleazy arse is going to Springwater.

Ok thanks for clearing that bit up. However, there is another aspect which could be something that needs fixing..

For the people who are at McFadden's doing the first march in, where are they supposed to park because while they are marching to the tailgate, the lots are just opening. Where are they going to park because the lots will be closed?

Ha ha ha. HA HA HA HA HA HA.

Wow. "Where am I supposed to park?" That's Nashville's official motto.

My answer to that is--You got me, buddy. There are plenty of daily parking lots. Some cost more than others. Usually, they usually have a machine or an attendant. Pay them and follow directions. Yes, parking costs a lot. Fortunately, if you are at a hotel, you can just leave your car at the hotel lot and just walk around. For those not staying at a hotel, you will have to deal with daily parking, and why Nashville is one of the worst cities in America to park your car in.

here's another problem with the march-in: it's stupid.

It's also tradition douchebag.

Don't_Tread sounds like you need to invest in some more comfy shoes.

These shoes should work.

And just another thing I might add if nobody else has said it. Be prepared for other places around the LP field parking lot to be charging for parking as well. Places such as restuarants, hotels, other buisnesses. The always try and profit off of people trying to find parking for the games at LP field. So don't expect to park at the shoneys down the street from LP field to get out of paying for parking becuase they more then likely will have someone there collecting money to park.

Very true. Repped.

This seriously happens in Nashville, and unless you are incredibly lucky or sleeping with Karl Dean you will have to pay for parking somewhere. Always watch out--Many people claim to have found a "Free" space only to come back to find their car booted or towed. What I am saying is--Supposing there is no attendant at Shoney's, so you decide to park there. Well, the sign says parking for customers only, and if they know there are a lot of cars and not a lot of customers well your arse will get towed! This is the sad fact of life with Nashville.
