Befor the preseason began, I asked about him in the Argentina forum, just to know in advance if he was the player I thought Real Madrid needed for their misfield and Mario told me that he was a good "5".
Now I must say I'm very pleased with him after the preseason is finished -he's better than I expected-. He has a very good technique, he defends reasonably well, he works and he feels comfortable in positions nearer to the other team's goal. In Spain, everyone agrees he has been the best of the team in the preseason. The Supercup will be the definitive test for him.

I have many hopes in cambiasso. I'm/was a big fan of Fernando "God" Redondo. Makelele and Helguera are great players but not with the class, charisma and personallity of Redondo. I hope that cambiasso can play near of Redondo's level. I'm very happy of what i see of him in the pre- season.
