Arn't the US and Mexico the same design just diffrent colors?

3. United States, 2000-2001 (Oh beautiful for spacious skies)
4. Jamaica, 2003 (cool runnings, mon)
5. Guatemala, 2002, home (the road ones were terrible!)

Worst kit: USA in the 1994 World Cup. Blue/red combination with ugly stars pattern, couldn't read the uniform numbers.

USA was supposed to switch to red for the 2002 WC, but after the fans got red outfits to cheer for them, Nike switched to blue late on for commercial reasons.

I hate the cookie-cutter Nike uniforms that both Holland and the US trotted out for the friendlies. Want to see both in one picture? Go to the Canadian supporters talk site , at the following thread for a good picture:

Looks horrible, like a bad remake of Rollerball! Especially the circled numbers, which look like a cattle-brand (maybe fit for the Dallas Burn or Calgary Mustangs, but not others).

The Adidas cookie cutters are nicer, but I don't like the Canadian jerseys, too indistinctive.

BY THE WAY, can any of the pic wizards show us some pictures of the various jerseys, as there have been so many changes over the years (and so many teams) , I've almost completely lost track. Help , someone, please...........

The green Mexico shirts with the Aztec subtle print were my favorites. For 2002, the US was drawn into a group with three teams who had red as a predominant color. Blue made sense as an alternative to white.

...it looks like an ugly sweater my colour-coordination-challenged great aunt knitted for me once. Only had to wear it when she came for a visit.

At least it's distinctive and not cookie-cutter, so there's a plus.

AMEN!! I can't stand it, it's like teams are starting to lose some of their identity. Part of the fun of international soccer is the distinctiveness of everything from playing styles to uniforms, and now the companies have lost all imagination and desire to produce good stuff.
