From an Australian point of view, I was really pleased when Liverpool signed our country's best player, Harry Kewell. :)
As for who's the better player, both Duff and Kewell are quality players, but I think Kewell is slightly better then Duff, especially when it comes to scoring goals. Kewell needs to be given more of an attacking licence at Liverpool, but I can't see that happening while Houllier is our manager. When it does, we'll start to see the absolute best of Kewell.
