Update: Baines notched and early goal but it would not hold up as Everton fell 2-1 to Portsmouth on Saturday.
Analysis: Baines doesn't score much, but apart from today, has been part of one of the stronger defenses in the Premiership. Don't expect to see his name in the scoresheet too often, his value is playing defense.
