Can anyone tell me what is the difference between an Air Base Group and an Air Wing ?

In the USAF, a "wing" is basically the same thing as a brigade/regiment, and a "group" is a sub-wing organization roughly analagous to a battalion. Groups then consist of squadrons, similar to companies.

It's different in other services, tho.
