i was hoping someone would be able to help me im trying to find a good pair of shorts but i need them to be fairl long just so the cover the knees coz im a goalie and i play in australia and the fields just become a big dust paddock so im after a piar of long soccer shorts and also can someone explain to me what an inseam is on shorts thanks

get some 3/4 pants. basically real long shorts, go over knees.

inseam i believe is the length from crotch of the pants to the bottom.

The inseam is the length of the short or pants from the crotch to the end of the leg.

If you want something that will cover your knees you will want to look for 3/4 or 5/8 length pants. Here are some examples.
