View Full Version : "Sold Out" my arse!

I'm in Tampa, and I've been planning on going to the DC/KC game for a month now...Unfortunately, they sold out a lot earlier than I expected. No worries though...I WILL get in to that damn stadium...Right now, the plan is to grease a ticket-taker with ten bucks, subtly handing it to him as if it were a ticket...If that doesn't work, I may have to cry like a little girl and say "I am Peter Nowak's bastard son! Why don't you want me to see my father? You sons of b1tches!"...Any other suggestions on ways of getting in to the game would be greatly appreciated, and will hopefully keep me entertained throughout this long boring workday.

Maybe buying the $5 ticket on time would have worked the best.

Well, fart on me!...Why the hell didn't somebody tell me that before?! Anyway, the USF soccer stadium is not exactly Fort Knox...I don't think I'll have too much trouble getting in one way or another.

A man was arrested today at the DC United, Kansas City Wizards pre-season match at the University of South Florida. Police believe he was acting as an Al-Qaeda operative, and trying to in some way to hurt national treasure, Freddy Adu. He is currently being held in Guantanamo Bay's prison facalties and is being "vigorously" interrogated.

SABuff, are you using that prescience?
I'm not worried, Freddy will solve the problem before it happens by building an additional 1,000 seats this morning before breakfast...

How the hell did you get your hands on my Camel-skin bound diary? I thought for sure that it was destroyed in that cave in Tora Bora! "Bunker Buster" my ass!

My friend in Tampa is really upset that she couldnt get a ticket for this. She had been planning on it for months. Apparently in the past these games have sold around 100-200 tickets... not the
4000-5000 tickets they sold this time. She is wondering where these people were during the Tampa Mutiny games.
--I guess Adu is something of a draw... at least 4,000-5,000 people worth. :D
p.s. Thamlin is a dick! hehehehe

Interesting. Looks like the first tangible evidence of an "Adu Effect" on attendance. It sure would be nice if Freddy got one past Fat Tony.

I'm sorry Fat Tony. It was a mistake. I was having too much fun. I offer you a truce: the stickiest of the icky. Wanna smoke with your old pal Rick James?

Yeah it is pretty amazing that a preseason game with Freddy Adu can draw double what a Mutiny regular season game got.
And people don't think the attendence bump will be huge with this kid.

Well I have always thought it would give us a boost... That is until the soccer moms got tired of little brown people OR they realized we have yet to score a goal :D

Not to worry. Freddy is saving his magic powers for the regular season. He doesn't want to waste it on preseason games. Come April 3, the ball will start flying into opponents' nets like it's magnetic.
