Interesting pick.
Probably would have gone higher if he'd started with more of a bang at Arsenal, based on where he stock was following the Euros.
He went about the right time for me and is a good pick at this stage.. I think his stock was slightly inflated after the Euros and he might as well have not been on the pitch for the game against Spain. He's always struck me as a player of extremes - excellent when he's on and somewhat disappointing when he's not.

I said that had Arshavin made more of a hot start at Arsenal, he'd likely have gone earlier based on his post-Euros rating. Still think he's good value though.
As our turn gets nearer and our #2 prospect dropped off the board a few picks ago, I am more and more nervous. Our guy is an absolute steal and guaranteed to bring about fapping by at least 1 judge. Really really really want our guy.

johno; if my guess is right; the player you are refering to should lead to fapping by 2 judges.

Good Picks
Arshvin is like Sniejder where I dint know where to draft bc of there good Eruo cups but under par seasons. So backed off to find players in better form
Young is very good and wanted to get him but what I want he wouldnt fit into
Skertel is a good pick.

Ashley Young was a very good pick. Best LW in the EPL, and he was definately one I was thinking about.

Agree love how he plays. If I dint get Ribery he was definitely the next option on my list

Skertel is a good pick.
Well in all competitions, he's played less games than Jonny Evans.

Best LW in the EPL.
You could fit him in just as well on the right and is capable as a front man in a pinch. He provides excellent options going forward.

Because of injury
Evans is a back up and I think there were better back ups on the board (who have cracked first team bc of injuries). Skertel is a starter and a good one at that

i'm logging off for 30-40mins to get my excited son into his bed. better late than never but he was allowed to stay up a little later tonight under special circumstances.

we will see... he's still available thankfully. to have him stolen now would be a travesty. Been wanting this guy since the draft started, but predicted that a dozen or so guys in his position would be taken before him which is silly considering his form over the last 2 seasons and his career in general.
