"USA can learn a great deal from other countries, but that's another story.... "

Like how Europeans appease mass murderers because they lack the guts to defend themselves?

Or were you talking about how to avoid personal hygiene at all costs?

You wanna hint at stereotypes? I can go all day, pal! ;)

Don't forget how to butcher women in the name of tradition. Stereotypes abound all over the world.

Nice to see you Thepremierleague and I don't blame you for all the bad things in Europe and Nigeria. Your posts are refreshing in this PC hothouse.
And yes, Americans can learn a thing or two from abroad.

The wierd thing is in England it's not politically incorrect at all.

Saying nobody watches or really cares about Womans football here is a fact and would draw little argument.

In the USA it's very different I see. With no historically deep rooted professional mens game people actually respect and even watch womans football. The football culture there is totally different to the rest of the world.

How popular is womens Basketball, Baseball and American football? Not very I bet.

P.S Forget Europe and Nigeria, America is up to it's arse in problems, home and especially abroad. :D

And one of the biggest problems is political correctness. Just call it what it is: Lying.

Found out? I don't care if people know I don't like Arena, just thought it was weird some schmuck kept records of Bigsoccer users who have offensive opinions to him and then try to use it as arsenal months later.

I don't mind watching it too much...although I have probably seen only a couple WUSA games on TV. Girls are much more athletic, and also much more academic in the US than in any other country. Girls soccer where I come from is serious business. They train just as hard as the boys. That being said, a good match for a U-15 girls team is a U-12 or U-13 boys team.

I played with a great female player on a co-ed indoor team this winter. She played as a freshman on the NCAA girls champoinshiop team and had the winning assist in the final. The league we were in was pretty weak, but there were some college and competitive high school players, and she juked the crap out of them. She does play on the U-19 national team, but I was still impressed with her pace and shot power. She also has excellent skills. She is about 5'10" as well and very physical. She is definitely good enough to fill a spot on a men's college squad, although probably not at the top level.

There's plenty of diving etc. in the women's game in general and the WUSA in particular.

It is just as much crap to have to put up with proponents of the women's game talking about how much better sports the women are (which really isn't all that true - as anyone who watched the Atlanta Cheat play last year can testify), or how much better their footskills are, or whatever, as it is to slam the women's game because they are slow, weak, and generally not as physically talented as men. If you like women's soccer, good for you. Don't try to sell it to me as if it's more 'clean' or 'pure' or 'skillfull' or anything else.

More women watch and enjoy mens football then womens.

Here's the catch 22: which is on TV more, and why is that so?

But also remember that part of PC is tradition, or the need to break it.

We will name our arenas just about anything as long as someone is willing to pay for it.

I suppose that is true, as it is for just about every country in this complicated world. But now we are sticking the big one up our problem's arse. :D

With the cuties currently playing in WUSA? No way!

Let's not degenerate this into a men's vs women's soccer thing. Obviously women are not as fast and strong as men. Regardless, the game was truly a great match played with intensity and fire.

If you thought that was an exciting match, just watch any of the Carolina vs Atlanta games. There's bodies flying into sideline boards, bloody noses, defenders slamming forwards to the ground, and foreign as well as English profanities yelled in front of the camera :D what great games they are!
