Update: Leadbitter was his normal self, incredibly high work rate, and it was rewarded with a goal, but it was not enough as Sunderland fell 2-1 to Wigan on Saturday.
Analysis: Leadbitter is one of the fan favorites at Sunderland, and game in and game out he shows why. A win for Sunderland would have vaulted them into 11th place; instead, the Black Cats stay within striking distance of the bottom three.
