Great for Harksey, bad for Tino... Are we gonna carry the kid? Suppose so.

Ooh, more details on Q1 please! Criminy!!
Good for Harkes, he can be home with the family. He's a good face person for the team. (But who will be Wheelock's sidekick, Ray?)

Steven, thanks, as always, for the update.

Balboa is doing TV and his Rapids "Ambassador" gig so I would assume John might try that too.

Geez, Tino better be careful or he is going to reach "Josh Wolff" status with all these injuries...

Wasn't AJ Wood involved with the Youth Program last year?? Is he still going to be there??
Good luck to Tino.

John's TV gig is in LA, unless they open some East Coast DC studio for FSW that might be difficult. Then Diceson could move The Soccer Show to TV :) Of course all those guys have what they call a face for radio....
Bummer about Tino, maybe he'll heal from this injury. Didn't Convey have a few abdominal injuries too?

Fox Sports World requires him to be out in LA. I would imagine that he needs to be in DC for this gig. He will have a lot more people working under him than Balboa as an "ambassador" aka worthless. I think he can't do it both. But then again, I don't know the extent of what he does yet. If he has to help scout young players, there is no way he can do both.

Harkes will be on the look out for other young stars that are finding their feet in the local catchment area, among the vast youth leagues in the region.

Harkes added: "I hope to identify the talent in the region and give players the opportunity to develop and move on to the next level."
Yeah, he's done at FSW. Somebody get Hudson on the line.
BTW, thank Steven!

I thought Balboa traveled to the HDNet games?

I think Harkesy took the job so he can scout the MILFs.

Are you trying to say that there's anything wrong with him doing that?

Yes. I'm not the one doing it. :D
I'd hire you as my first assistant, Todd.

It is good to have John Harkes back with DC United.
I hope Quaranta recovers.
Bring on Nottingham.
Thank you for the information Mr. Goff.

I echo Jose's remarks! (I haven't met my fancy word quota for the day yet:D) Thanks SG!
Congrats and welcome back Harkes! Time to relay all that wealth of knowledge to our esteemed youth players.
Sorry to hear about Santino. Best wishes on a quick and complete recovery. Just like Convey, the sports hernia seems to require long term recovery. That puts stress on the rest of your body as you cannot stay fully fit during that hernia recovery period. In Santino's defense, he has been fairly effective during his brief glimpses on the field. As a midfielder he has an excellent long outlet pass, probably the best on the team. As a forward, he had a good ratio of both goals and assists per minute compared to the rest of the team. Now, it's always possible to improve one's attitude, but as for his playing, Santino is far from a flop. Harder work and better health/habits might really allow him to blossom.
Hmmm, Nottingham Forrest are trying to slip under the radar. They must think that because they're not an English Premiership team that we'll take them lightly and let them win. :D I just fear losing to Forrest and then Forrest losing to Richmond ... we'd never hear the end of it from Sormun.
