While the dynamics in Philadelphia will be different than they would be on a national scale, this is a very clean analysis of Comcast's business practices and how they could affect channel access should the Disney merger eventually occur.
Note the fiberoptic network one cable provider is building to circumvent the FCC carriage regulations. Since we are so dependent on telecommunications, this is an issue that should concern us all. I tend to lean conservative and I would never fancy myself to be an activist, but this is one issue where I would encourage everyone who cares about the information is delivered to us to speak up and let the right people know how you feel.
