In this month's issue of State magazine, there's a two page article about the U.S. Embassy's anti-drug outreach efforts to children in Bolivia called "Soccer Diplomacy." It describes an annual tournament the Embassy in LaPaz sponsors with the national police to get the Libre de Drogas message out. The article also mentions a pick up game with Embassy folks (including the Political section Chief) and police and some of the tournament participants. The accompanying picture shows two foreign service officers sporting sweet DCU jerseys.
