Very unfit? It says he's working with the trainer to get to the same level as his teammates. You can imfer that this means he's very unfit. You could also infer that he's almost there. The article doesn't state a degree of fitness, just that he isn't at the same level as his teammates and that he is doing intense training to get there. It also says he may be on the subs bench for the game against Boca.

Mi amigo, I think your spanish is a little rusty. It says that he had intense workouts with the trainer to be as fit as the rest of the team if possible. He talks about 1991 when he helped beat Boca and how even though he'll probably be a sub, he would love to get into the game tomorrow and score one for the fans.

As much as I hate Bolivar, I'll be pulling for them and Marco to upset Boca.
